Excellent location 2 steps from the Spanish steps beautiful rooms very clean and neat. The staff is amazing. Highly recommended definitely will stay there again.

This place was right outside the Spanish steps, shopping and lots of food options. It’s very quiet. Bed was comfy. It was odd there was no wash clothes but that might be a thing in Italy! Who knows, we worked around it. Staff is SUPER NICE too. Highly suggest this hotel.

Rome55 was a wonderful experience. The staff was wonderful and very helpful to us in getting cabs when checking out. The only reason for a 4 was we would have liked the option of American coffee in the morning. However, the location was so good we did not have trouble finding coffee. I would definitely go back.

My wife and I were very happy with our stay at Rome 55. This property is in a great location, very close to the Spanish Steps. The proprietors, Natasha and Claudio, could not have been nicer or more accommodating to our needs.

Great 5 room hotel very close to the Spanish Steps

Very clean charming hotel on the 2nd floor of a building that is very close to the Spanish Steps and the Piazza di Spagna. Small European room with brand new fixtures in the bathroom. Very hot water! Superb Air Conditioning which was a plus as it was in the high 30Cs all week.

Lovely stay!

A family owned hotel run by a lovely lady. She was very accommodating and helpful. The hotel is located at the heart of one of Rome’s tourist attractions; piazza de spagna - a must for first time travellers to Rome. One of the best shopping areas for luxury shopping starts in the streets here. The size of the rooms were generous and beautifully decorated. One tiny little minus for the curtins that were not covering for the sunlight and the pillows were a bit hard. I would stay again.

Lovely Hosts

Roma 55 is very well situated right within 50m of Piazza Spagna. The hosts are very helpful & wanting their guests to enjoy their visit to Rome. On our checkout they went & flagged a taxi & helped us with our luggage as taxi's can't stop right in front of building so need to go to nearest corner ( 100m ) approx to get taxi. If you want extra luxury I can thoroughly recommend one of the 2 mini suites they have in a property just around the corner Called Piazza Spagna Just for us which have been recently refurbished & are very upmarket presentation.

This place was great! The location is right next to Spanish steps! Felt super safe, area is well lit at night! you need a code to get into the building then another code to get into the lobby of your hotel! Near all the shopping and restaurants! The train is about 10 minutes from there. The hotel owners are so sweet and caring! The room is updated and sooooooo clean! The bed is so comfortable I over slept and almost missed our train! Will be back there for sure!

Location, Location, Location

Location, location, location!!! Outside the door are the Spanish Steps, high end shopping and exquisite restaurants. The room was modern and well appointed. Owners Natalie, Claudio and assistant Marie Claire were wonderful hosts who helped with everything from car logistics to tips about the best of the city. We will be returning to this place!

HORRIBLE PLACE!!!!!!

The location is windrfull' and that all!!!! we came to the hotel at 20:00 pm, thay told us that a key will be wait for us at the recaption, but no key was thier, we need to call ,and over the phone thay explain to us how to open the door. the room was small, not look as half as at the pictuers. we woke up at 7:00 am, not because we want to, becuse someone decided to start reparing and he was makeing a terrible noise. we didn't say anything. In the next morning its all start over again,terribe, terrible noise - this time we decided to complain. At the recpation thay said thay sorry about the noise and thay will give us a compensation of 140 ure, only if we will cancel the resrvation from hotel.com, we told them that we can't cancel the reservation, and thay made us write a letter to hotel.com, and said that thay will work it out with hotel.com. The next day, thay told us that hotel.com can't cancel the reservation, so we will not get the compensation thay offer us. we try to explain that the were very understunding about the noisr, and thay said that we were right to get a compensation, but if hotel. com didnt give them back the money we will not get anything. we pay full price for a horrible place with a owner that stand a lied to us, and everytime thay felt uncomfortable thay said thay dont speak english!!! The place is embarrassing!!!!!!!!
