As this hotel was still closed and the booking system had not been updated, I was transferred to another NH hotel near Termini, the Palazzo Cinquecento. Although the locaton was very central, I would have preferred my original choice, but no big deal as the hotel is very nice and new, with big rooms and comfy beds. The only downturn was the breakfast, which, due to Covid-19 regulations, understandably could not be served as a buffet but was behind a glass vitrine. However, the choice was quite poor for a 5-star hotel, and when I asked for boiled eggs i was told that this was not possible - I understand that there are restrictions in place but surely not for boiling eggs? All in all a good hotel though and very practical if you arrive or depart by train, but not the nicest area in Rome.
