The Good: The hotel was conveniently located close to Roma Termini train station. This was great as we used the train to get to/from Venice and to get out to the FCO airport. The hotel was also priced right for our budget. The Bad: The hotel (or just our room) is in disrepair. Air conditioning was really weak and Rome was really hot while we were there (high was 34C / 93F). They tried to fix it multiple times, but it never got to a comfortable level. Both the sink and the shower had draining issues. The stand-up shower had lots of mold/mildew. The room had a few USB/power plugs that didn't work.

Not good hotel and service is bad. Reason for negative review is the hotel never told us that the hotel was fully booked and they did not notify us until we arrive. We end up getting another hotel thanks to calling in expedia customer service and they got us another hotel to accommodate our unexpected cancelation.

It was 5 minutes from the train station. Please understand there are 50 hotels nearby. They advertise so they get more business. Check around.

Ottima posizione, buone camere, buona colazione

Primo soggiorno, prenotata una singola, alloggiato in un'ampia tripla. Personale molto disponibile e cordiale. Camera spaziosa, ben rifinita e piuttosto moderna. Letto comodo, insonorizzazione efficace, buone dotazioni. Bagno spazioso ma più "vecchio". WiFi veloce e con buona banda disponibile. Colazione di buon livello con ottimi cornetti e un'interessante macchina dei succhi. La posizione dell'albergo è ottima per gli spostamenti in città, i dintorni un po' meno anche se ricchi di posti interessanti dove cenare.

Le stelle "cadenti"

Soffione della doccia che in realtà era un nebulizzatore: usciva vapore acqueo tanto che non ho potuto fare una doccia. Odore di fogna persistente, mancanza di coperte doppie infatti sono morta di freddo, letto rotto e dulcis in fundo: dalle ore 4.00 del mattino non sono più riuscita a dormire a causa del trambusto della gente che pernottava. Le pareti erano talmente sottili che sentivo anche quando un ospite, che alloggiava accanto a me, chiudeva una valigia, starnutiva e utilizzava il bagno. Pessimo a dir poco. Dovevo partire il giorno dopo per un viaggio di lavoro all'estero e avevo pensato di pernottare a Roma per essere maggiomente riposata ma ero più stanca di prima. 40 euro più la tassa di soggiorno di 4 euro e tre stelle in copertina? Ma volete sistemare questi bagni o cosa? La gente viene in albergo per riposarsi e per lavarsi e voi avete un buco nel muro dove esce vapore? Un turista o chi come me viaggia non torna se è questo il servizio. Povera Italia.

Small, clean hotel near Roma Termini

The Hotel Giorgi is a good place for short stays in central Rome. The room rate is reasonable and very competitive considering location and standard of accomodation. The WiFi is very good but the hotel charges guests to use it on a daily basis. The furnishings, decor, and overall cleanliness are good to very good. Rooms are small but comfortable enough and very clean. Noise can be an issue: not from outdoors (i.e. the rooms face the inner courtyard, and the hotel is also on a side street, although neighboring church bells can be loud), but from inside the hotel. Bad sound insulation between rooms and between room and corridor. So, if other hotel guests are inconsiderate, you can hear them talking, snoring (!), or moving in neighboring rooms or hallway. Hotel management and staff are moderately courteous. Breakfast is just adequate, nothing to shout about, but the breakfast facilities are large and comfortable enough.

Super ligging. Hotel kamer Was schoon degelijk en netjes. Ontbijt Is net niets. Kan Veel beter in ieder geval. Douchewater temperatuur Is ook raar instelbaar. Vaak heel heet.
