"Bit of a party place"
This really is a village. Our little hut was very small, next to no walking room but the bed was comfy. WiFi is limited to certain areas. The showers were beyond wonderful and everything was pretty clean. The bar at the top of the hill is a great place to meet people from all over the world. Nice place and very cheap!

"Roma Apartment centrally located "
Great location, nice large space. Mezzanine with a queen bed, room with two singles, and couch in living room/kitchen. Renters must be fit: 85 - 400 year old steps to climb each way, no elevator.

"Perfect location."
A small hotel in the heart of the Piazza Navona quarter, reasonably priced by Roman standards. Unfortunately I was first booked into a dark attic room with only a tiny window overlooking the inner courtyard and elevator, but once I complained the desk clerk moved me the next day to another room with windows overlooking the street. Very helpful staff everywhere. Comfortable bed, and all the modern comforts you'd expect in a first-class hotel.

"A bit scruffy but okay overall."
The whole place could do with a bit of decorating and cleanliness isn't great (e.g. someone else's toenail clippings on the carpet in my room). The lady who checked me in was great, the other staff didn't care much. Breakfast consists of buying a coupon to exchange for a glass of juice, a coffee and a croissant at a cafe two doors down from the hotel. Four Euros isn't bad for that though and wi-fi access was good value too. A refrigerator and basic cooking facilities in the room mean you're not tied to eating out all the time, something which bugs me as a business traveller. It's a ten minute walk from the metro and bus services so quite good for central Rome and nearby offices.

"Affordable place to stay. Close to transit. "
Clean and lots of space. We had a 2 bedroom. Very affordable. Kitchenette was ok. Could have used some more basics like extra garbage bags and toilet paper. If you are looking for affordable clean in Rome then this is good. You get what you pay for. I would stay here again.

Loved everything about it. We had the room with the arches. And it was amazing. All the amenities you need. Huge bed. Within walking distance of everything. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Could not recommend enough. Would definitely return to the telegraph suites.

"Good location, Staff not on the ball"
Location was great - right next to Vatican City and about 40 mins walk to the Coliseum. There are lots of places to eat in the area near to the hotel. Facilities were limited due to reconstruction works - the gym was closed, as was the roof terrace. There was no disruption or noise from the building works. Staff were not helpful when we could not get the heating to work (two very cold nights before they finally helped us) and the internet was off for two nights - not fixed sooner due to poor communication between duty staff members. Overall, I'd still recommend this place, and hopefully the staff will be more 'on the ball' in the future.

"Nice Apartment close to main terminal"
Lux Appartamenti was a great place to stay in my opinion. It has a bus stop (for 50 and 105) a min walk that will take you to the main station Termini. It is also very close to a tram stop (about 3-5 mins walk Porta Maggiore) that can take you to most of the sites. Trams 14 and 5 to the main station Termini, 3 to the circus maximus and Colosseum/Palatine Hill/Roman Forum and any of them to any Metro station to get to Vatican City. The apartment itself was well furnished with washing machine/dryer and kitchen with all the appliances (hob, oven, microwave, fridge etc) you may need. Both the sala and bedroom had an airconditioner. double bed and sofa were acceptable but it's not really something you'd notice after a long day walking and seeing the sites. We usually came back past 8pm to take a shower and then drop deep into sleep. The air conditioner itself is the only downside being that it's quite weak. It's good at ensuring you don't get too hot but you don't get to feel the cold until it's quite late at night. We met with Manuela when we checked in and she was lovely, gave us the lay of the land, map and very helpful suggestions for first timers in Rome. Glad to have booked this place as it made a great base in our tour sightseeing in Rome.
