"A very darling, completely equipped room bath kitchen. State of the art sinks and faucets, towels for every occasion, and so many extras. The surrounding decking complete with tables, seating, hot tub, outdoor shower and everything very well taken care of. Just loved this tiny accomodation!!"

"Wave House was a great location for our family and friends to enjoy a September getaway to the OBX! We especially enjoyed that each bedroom had an ensuite bathroom and adults had their own space. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-appointed and the coffee bar was well-stocked and much enjoyed. Our host, Brian, was very responsive to our requests and was great to work with us when a nor'easter moved through and the roads on and off the island were closed for several days. He turned what could have been a stressful event into an adventure leaving a special memory. From a safety standpoint, the dunes in front of the house held the waves exceptionally well, and we felt totally safe as we watched the houses close to us get significant water damage. I would definitely love to return to this house for future vacations."

"We just got back from an unforgettable family getaway, and this beach house completely exceeded our expectations!Location & Accommodations: Being right across from the beach made daily walks on the sand and trips back to the house effortless. The house accommodations were incredibly spacious, comfortable, and felt like a true home away from home.Amenities & Outdoor Space: The pool and hot tub were absolute highlights for our family—we spent hours relaxing in them after long days at the shore.Pet-Friendly: Our pup had a wonderful time exploring and relaxing with us, making it a true whole-family vacation.The Host: Hands down, the host was the best we have ever interacted with on Vrbo, incredibly responsive, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. We had special circumstances coming into our trip and honestly her kindness saved our vacation. She went above and beyond and I am truly grateful. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and are already looking forward to coming back!"

"Sea winds was better than advertised. The location is ideal, the house is perfectly appointed… I did not want for anything. And the lovely extra details and thoughtful touches for dogs and humans alike made this such a special place. I will be returning."

"We lived our stay at Island Time! Felt like a beachfront property with the proximity to the beach making it easy for members of our family to go back and forth. The beach was quiet and relaxing ! The pier was close for a quick drink or ice cream ! The pool was a great size with plenty of room for everyone. It did have some bugs and was a little dirty but Steve promptly addressed this ! The ice cream truck was fun for the kids to run out for a fun treat !!! We also love sunrises and could watch from the deck or the beach !!!We ate in most days and the kitchen was great …had all we needed. House was comfortable for the ones from our group who wanted to relax more inside. Thanks for a great family vacation !!!!"
