Perfect for beachgoers, kiteboarders, water sport enthusiasts, or holidays with families and friends.

Inside, you'll find two living rooms, one with pool table and bar. Large screen TVs with premium cable and surround sound in each. Enjoy stargazing while relaxing in the hot tub on the deck.

Located in the tri-villages, close to dining & shops.

The game room includes plenty of entertainment for staying in. There is a second living area where people can relax, a fully stocked kitchen, and hot tub. Save space in the car - we provide beach chairs and a beach wagon for the days in the sun. Family friendly - we have a high chair and a pack and play available for the little ones. Free washer/dryer is available as well as detergent and dryer sheets.

House is close to all the action - walking distance to world famous REAL Watersports, the beach, Waterman’s Bar and Grill and access to the Tri-Villages sidewalk that bridges Rodanthe, Waves and Salvo shops and restaurants.

We are available to our guests any time. We provide our number to reach us directly by phone or by text. We want to ensure that you have the best time during your stay!

We will provide a welcome package to our guests that highlight activities, walking directions to the beach, where to go for food and fun, and an overview of the area for those that are new to the tri-village area.

Great place to stay.

Great place to stay. Close to Rodanthe Beach public access. Much quieter than the tourist traps but close enough to the attractions to make this a good choice.

We really had a great stay! The amenities were very helpful and met our needs. We were happy with our stay and the ramp made the difference for our family, a family member was wheelchair ridden. I look forward to coming back!

Beautiful, clean home

Our stay was decidedly too short, but the property was immaculately cleaned and well maintained. The owners clearly care about their guests' experience. While I wish we had been able to stay longer, I definitely recommend the property. The subtle touches, like the sundries provided, were perfect. Even the candle in the kitchen was a subtle yet welcoming touch.

Decent place

Decent place and it worked fine for our family. Pros: *pool table *hot tub *door lock with code, no keys, no going to rental company and waiting in line to check in *provided plenty of TP, paper towels, trash bags, dish detergent *beach chairs and carts provided *owner was responsive when we had an issue getting the tv's to work Cons: *kitchen was small, very little counter space and not well equipped (found only 1 butterknife, no measuring spoons, etc) *driveway is tiny and difficult to get more than 2 cars in and out without going into the grass, must back out onto the highway *beds were hard and uncomfortable (personal preference though) *right on highway 12 and only deck (with hot tub) overlooks highway 12, so quite noisy, not a good view *didn't realize how far from beach the walk was and that it was partially on hwy 12

A Great Place to Relax

This nice house offers many advantages: (1) Spaciousness: With 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, a second floor outdoor patio/deck with hot tub, a game room on the first floor with a pool table, TVs in every room, etc. You can spread out and relax. (2) Location: The location in the Tri-Villages (Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo) is away from the hustle and bustle of Kitty Hawk and Nags Head. (3) Pet Friendly: Our puppies really liked the large living spaces. (4) Duck Donuts: How can you make a pilgrimage to the OBX without them? The location in Avon is about 20 minutes away (near Food Lion), and the one in Nags Head is about 30 minutes in the opposite direction (next to the Cottage Shop). (5) Responsiveness: The owners are super friendly and available, and respond to questions within minutes. I had worked about 260 hours in the 4 weeks before visiting Hi Waves, and needed a peaceful and restful break. This was the place to do it! We really enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay. Cristina was a wonderful host and we really appreciated her excellent communication and how well she accomodated our group. The house was absolutely adorable and very comfortable. We also loved how close it was to the beach - just a short 7-min walk! The fact that the bech felt so private was a real bonus.

Peaceful Location

This house was very comfortable for our stay in OBX. It is located in a quiet area with lots of beach access to the sound and the Atlantic as well as beautiful nature reserves. There are many great local restaurants and ice cream places. The house has a washer/dryer with fast cycles that made life very easy. The view from the porch and balcony is perfect to watch the sunset. Instructions were very clear, management was super quick to respond, and the neighbors were very friendly. This is a great location to relax and still be close enough to all of the activities of the Outer Banks.

The property was kept well. It was nice having the 2 different main areas. There were plenty of bathrooms. In the bunk room noticed the tv would not turn on. After investigating the tv was unplugged. No worries as we used the tv's in the house. It was a great experience all around.

Felt Like Home

My husband and I, our kids, and some friends really enjoyed this property. It had everything we needed and felt like home (only better!). Communication with the owners was wonderful. We wouldn't hesitate to book this place again. The owner's suite is upstairs on the same level as the kitchen and living room. There is also another bedroom with a half bathroom available in the hallway. There is a hot tub on the same level. Downstairs is a room with a pool table, a bar with a small frig, two bedrooms - one with four bunkbeds, and one a king (I think) bed. The king bed has access to its own full bath and the bunk bed room has access to a full bath in the hallway. There is also a laundry room. Just a short walk to the beach. Really enjoyed our stay!

Not great

We arrived and were able to get early occupancy, which was great. Clean and tidy place. And was pet friendly which was definitely a plus for us. Disappointed in the location. We were expecting it to be on the ocean, quite disappointing. No extra toilet paper, no extra garbage bags, grass/lawn was over a foot high, unable to get the microwave to work, no extra laundry detergent. When we contacted the owner, she was very quick and did respond. The husband said the microwave worked just fine when it did not. We tried what we were told and nothing worked. We just chose to not use it. It was our first ever family trip to outer banks and had very high expectations and were quite disappointed. When we left, we stripped all the beds, which was not requested, and double checked everything. We left it as we found it except for the fact that we lived there for 3 nights. Got a message later that day from the host saying her cleaner said there was dog hair & p on beds/bedding and carpet and needed to be professionally cleaned. We would never allow dogs on a bed. The cleaners word against ours. Very disappointed in our stay.
