"Everything was so lovely on the Azul Project! Our first night was a bit rough because there was a gale warning and the wind/water was a lot for these landlubbers, but once the weather settled down and the water was calm, we thoroughly enjoyed our time on the boat. It was incredibly relaxing; communication with our host was fabulous; the area felt safe and was super easy to navigate. Thank you to Gia for hosting us; we'll be sure to recommend and will be back! "Helpful staff, changed our room to a ground floor room at the last moment so w would not have to lug a heavy suitcase up the stairs. Breakfast was great. Like the beach access."

"The complimentary breakfast has many options from hot items like sausage, eggs, pancakes to cold items like cereal, muffins. The rooms were clean and well maintained, however the beds could use a real blanket, not two top sheets. The property needs cleaning, there’s ALOT of trash on property. The cleaning ladies also toss trash bags down to the garden beds when cleaning. We saw for two days the trash be outside which resulted in roaches being around. I will say the location, price, beach access, friendliness of the owners, complimentary breakfast makes this a good place to stay."

"This is a very nice hotel. It’s smells so nice and clean when you enter. Pretty lobby with tropical fish tanks. Front staff very welcoming and friendly. Our room was great, everything nice and clean. They have a little bar and restaurant on site. We ate there and it was very good, and the waitress was very nice. We did not swim, but there is an outdoor pool and an indoor pool with Jacuzzi. This hotel is right on the beach and they even have a pier right there. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a nice place in a great location close to stores and an easy hop onto the main highway that goes up and down the Outer Banks."

"Rooms were nice besides the spiderwebs on the balcony. Hotel was quiet which was nice and not a far walk at all to the beach. Elevators were extremely slow and 1 broke down. Vending machines didnt work. Asked the lady at the front desk for extra towels and they didnt have any which doesnt make sense when you have housekeeping. More amenities even forks,spoons etc would be nice. Best parts of the hotel were the room and how quiet it was"
