"We had a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful, extremely clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen had every appliance we could possibly need. It was extremely convenient that all towels and linens were provided and it was definitely a relief not to have to worry about it. The beach is only a matter of feet away and it was a quick walk to hours of fun! Our family had a blast!!! "
"This cute two bedroom was the perfect size for our nuclear family. The deck is perfect for drinking coffee and watching the sun rise. The house is pretty much right on the beach. At high tide the waves sometimes even come up under the house. Any closer houses are already condemned!Renting through Surf or Sound couldn’t be easier. When we arrived there was a care package with essentials we might have forgotten to bring, though I would recommend bringing a couple more hand soaps. Beach towels and shower supplies are not included. I rented a kayak but didn’t feel confident launching it into the ocean so it never got used. If you want to kayak I recommend going to one of the outfitters on the sound side. "

"There was 9 of us and we felt so comfortable and at home at toes in the sand. The porch is a fantastic place for everyone to hang out and the beach is right in front. We would absolutely return. "
"This was my family’s first time to the Outer Banks and it was wonderful. This property was perfectly located with easy access to local shops but more removed from the busier Nags Head and Avon. The size and amenities were as expected, overall I think the property could use some general updates, but it did not detract from our amazing vacation. "

"The stay in Rodanthe was amazing. Location, cleanliness, well-stocked kitchen (except crock pot)! View of the ocean from two decks is amazing! Day trip to Hatteras, ferry to Ocracoke was a blast! Nights in Rodanthe house is a couple cottages away.Quiet, relaxing… just everything we wanted! We only used the third floor… it had everything we needed! Will definitely save this one for a future visit! "
