"I was very nervous after reading the reviews but we had a great stay. It's nothing fancy but the staff was great, the room had a beautiful view and it served its purpose. This location alone is worth the price we paid, which you're not going to find cheaper in Grand Marais. I mean, you're next door to World's Greatest Doughnuts! Maybe we just got lucky with our specific room but I think alot of the people in these reviews expected a 5 Star resort and just love to complain, but you get what you pay for! I would stay again! "

"This place to us, is heaven on earth. So quiet, so peaceful ,and the air is so fresh. We will be booking again next year. The weather was absolutely fabulous. We didn't need the fire place as it was very comfortable temperature wise. Excellent. "

"If you're looking for a glamping type experience, this is a great place to stay! We found the cabin to be very clean and comfortable. The location is great, it's only a few minutes into Grand Marais, and it's very convenient for the boundary waters. The host is friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend."

"My stay was wonderful. It was so dark at night and so quiet. I saw the Northern Lights and a shooting star while sitting on the deck.
The cabin was very clean, neat and cozy. The bathroom was clean and I was happy to find out that it had lights.
It was close to town but felt like it was miles away. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"What a wonderful place!!! Our family of 4 (13 yrs and 10yrs) loved staying at this resort! So much to do. Free activities along with extra for a bit extra. Had BBQ dinner buffet served by the owner of the resort. Very friendly staff and the lodge we stayed in was very clean. Beach is great for all ages and free kayaks and canoes were the cherry on top. Thank You!!!"
