"We had a great experience. I was uncertain about the fire and smoke situation but we went ahead and we’re happy we did. The house was lovely and very roomy. The setting was beautiful although the smoke kept any lake views at bay. The cows mooing nearby was fun. Lindsay and her family were friendly and helpful."

"Great spot off the beaten path. Didn't encounter anyone else on the lake, and it's big enough for some good paddling. Plus there are so many more nearby. Cabin is cozy and the kitchenette is enough for simple cooking. Great launching point to explore the north shore/Grand Marais/Boundary Waters"

"Love the property, the privacy, and the proximity to Grand Marais and the Cascade River State Park. The price seemed a tiny bit high for what we got, but we don’t have dogs. If we had dogs, the price would be more than worth it. Would stay again for sure!"

"Beautiful spot, great for swimming and canoeing. The big grill was great for group meals. The hotel type rooms worked great for our family reunion. Host was very responsive in answering questions. We would definitely stay again."

"This was our first family trip up to the boundary waters area and we had a blast! It was a little hard to find the cabin just due to the GPS/wifi cutting out, but once we got there and settled in, it was the perfect place to enjoy our summer vacation! The cabin itself was stocked with everything we needed for cooking, toiletries, etc... and we absolutely loved the dock and quiet lake view. My husband caught walleye, pike, and smallmouth bass while my daughter enjoyed canoeing and I indulged in some reading and sunbathing! We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay and would definitely recommend it for families, couples, or fishing enthusiasts who want a quiet, relaxing lakeside experience. :)"
