"Tom was a fabulous host. He was very kind in allowing us to book another night on the front end, as a winter blizzard was approaching. The home was well equipped and super comfortable--and the perfect location for accessing the trails. And he even helped push my buddy's truck out of a snowdrift. We can't wait to come back!"

"Spacious, comfy beds and pillows, beautiful view, and easy to walk to brewery and restaurants. Couldn’t really ask for anything more. Little extras like biscotti in the morning or fresh popcorn in the afternoons was nice.

"The room was clean and smelled nice. Bedding was fresh. When we needed more towels, the front desk was helpful and responsive.
The continental breakfast was simple. Nothing wrong with that, but if you want protein options for breakfast, pack your own. Also if you are Gluten Free as some of our guests were, pack your own. Breakfast bowls were a big hit! Our room did have a fridge and microwave."

"We had an absolutely wonderful time. I would recommend this location anyone. Lyndsay was an absolutely wonderful host. The house was clean, tidy, and excellently decorated; it had a charming farm feel. Every detail was carefully considered. We got up early every morning and watched the sunrise over Lake Superior. The location felt remote, but it was a short drive to get into Grand Marais. We will go back the next chance we get! "
