"What a beautiful place to get away from it all! Located at the very end of the Gunflint Trail, Sag Lodge was the perfect spot for our family of five to unplug and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Northwoods. The views were absolutely beautiful, and the stargazing was incredible! We loved the feeling of being tucked away from everything. Our accommodations were clean, cozy, comfortable, and just the right size for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed, and it was clear that the property was thoughtfully cared for and well maintained. There’s something really special about being at the end of the trail, surrounded by so much natural beauty and quiet. We’re already looking forward to coming back!"

"I had family in town from Florida to introduce them to the beautiful MN north woods. Communication with the host was pleasant, instructions for check-in/check-out thorough, with info about the property and gear available for guest use. The cabin was very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, and ample space to relax. The property is pet friendly and my dog thoroughly enjoyed exploring the trails and taking in the unfamiliar scents. There is a nice firepit in the yard, with plenty of wood.We did see a beautiful fox in the yard and a beast of a bull moose on the road in.Overall, an excellent experience."

"Loved every minute of our stay at Norse Hus! Beautiful cabin, spotless and had every amenity we could think of. Started each morning on the back porch eating breakfast surrounded by beautiful fall leaves in the surrounding forest. Especially loved our nightly cozy fires after a day of canoeing and hiking. Highly recommend!"

"Highly recommend this cozy and peaceful cabin. From excellent communication to being very clean and having all the necessities with lots of towels and blankets, cooking utensils, bath essentials and even coffee. The tranquility was amazing and we would absolutely stay here again!"

"Having the whole facility to ourselves gave us the privacy we wanted, although a public access to the lake was right next door which received use by many people each day. The private dock area permitted us access without being affected by public use.Canoeing was great as we saw a moose along the shoreline. Fishing for small mouth was very slow. At night very area was very quiet.We were able to realize somewhat of an isolated experience, for those that needed on-line access the connection was good and stable. The refrigerator was a bit small for our group of 11 for 5 days - we brought all of our groceries with us since shopping was an hour drive away.The caretaker was a friendly guy who tried hard.For a large group this was a good place to stay. The hands-on natural history museum just down the road was well staffed and had a lot to offer young and old at a reasonable cost."

"We had an amazing stay at this cabin! We had three couples and all of our children, and there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out comfortably. The outdoor space was lovely, we loved having a fire each night. The dock was convenient, easy to access, and perfect for spending time on the water. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and responsive throughout our stay. We would absolutely recommend this cabin and would love to come back!"
