"We loved walking down to the lodge for drinks and meals. The staff were all very friendly. We stayed in Cabin One and enjoyed the view of the lake and the wood burning stove. The table was big enough to play games. The bed very soft and squishy while we prefer a firmer mattress. The bathroom was from another era, but it was clean and typical of the North Shore. We would stay here again."

"This cabin was close to Grand Marais but far enough away that it was a great, quiet place to come back to after a day of sight seeing. Included a small kitchen with everything we needed to cook some meals. Living room, bathroom, and bedroom all on the same level. Nice screened windows on a porch on 2 sides -- was a great place to sit and read. Nice deck. And a GREAT outdoor shower! Ralph was a great host! I think the surroundings and the quiet made this a great place to stay. Thank you Ralph!"
