"We have stayed at the River Rock quite a few times and this was the first time I wouldn’t give it 5 stars. There was a planned power outage for 14 hours. They told us when we checked in but did nothing to compensate us. I did not love that as it meant the restaurants were not open and the main reason we stay there is because it’s like a little all inclusive weekend. It won’t stop us from going back but it was a disappointment"

"This place isn't fancy, but it was just what I needed. After a flight cancellation, I booked an overnight here at the last minute. The price was right. The room was a bit out of date, but clean, well-stocked, and the bed was much more comfortable than the one in the fancy hotel I stayed at earlier in my trip. Breakfast was great, airport shuttle was convenient. Thanks!"
