"This was a dream. We were really not expecting much and walked into a little slice of heaven. The grounds are stunning, with ocean views all around and beautifully kept. Staff was welcoming and accommodating at every moment. Rooms were bright and spacious, and the dining experience a hit. We can’t wait to return. "

"This is a very REASONABLY priced lodging for the FL Keys so expect simple things. We had a great stay, room was clean, the young gent at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful, ditto at checkout. The beds are comfortable. The shower head had great pressure and the onsite tiki bar is a big plus. There were no plastic cups or coffee maker in the room but there was a microwave and fridge and table with two chairs. The ice machine was not working but there is a quickie mart just next door for that if you needed it. Could the resort be flashier, yes it could but Looe Key Reef Resort offered us a cost effective comfy safe stay in a place where time in the room was not important. We did not use the pool or the dive/snorkle amenities as we came down to fish, but if you wanted that stuff it’s all here. We hope to be back soon."

"The house is absolutely beautiful! You cannot beat the location. We met the owner while we were at the gated community and he was very accommodating. You can kayak right out back, there are great views from the pool which was kept nice and cool during the summer. We highly recommend this place. Just be sure to secure a place to park your trailer before you arrive if you’re bringing a boat. We did have some issues with the initial property manager, but the owner took over with communication and made our vacation one of the most wonderful experiences we’ve ever had. We plan on going back! It was also a great place for our children! Very kid friendly with lots of stuff to do."

"We really enjoyed our stay. We took our 23 ft boat and a jetski and there was plenty of room on dock and in the driveway with trailers. My 2 dogs really enjoyed swimming in the canal. My only concern was the big hole in the yard near the retaining wall that someone could fall into and get hurt. Also, the LVP flooring in the house really needs replaced as it is a tripping hazard. One recommendation would be to have a vaccum guest could use. I have long haired dogs that love swimming which means they were shedding like crazy. Overall, I would definitely book this place again! "
