"This hotel has great rooms for cheap prices. Our room had a complication but the hotel staff upgraded our room no questions asked and were very apologetic for the issue. 4 stars. I'd give it 5 stars if there wasn't an issue with the original room, but how the staff reacted to the issue was exceptional!"

"This was a 10/10 stay. The staff is amazingly quick, kind and efficient which made our stay so peaceful and easy. We had all of our needs met and even got complimentary snacks and drinks throughout the day! They have various maps and brochures detailing all hotspots in Kyoto with staff recommendations on places to eat nearby. The hotel even assists with the luggage forwarding process.
