"The property was great and the staff was excellent. The beach area was great and had great access to areas for snorkeling. The pool area was large and they had an adults only section but there were not a lot of young kids when we were there. The restaurants were good most had inside and outdoor seating. Parking (if you have a car) is also great and easy to get in and out."

"I do not typically write reviews but this property warranted it and not in a good way. The property is massive. It’s literally a hike to and from the rooms to the lobby depending on the “tower” they put you in. The good news is there was a tram. The bad news is that it was rarely operational during our stay. When it was working, the air temperature in the cars was sub arctic. So cold we opted to walk despite the distances. Hence my marks for how well the property was maintained. Something that critical for guest comfort on a property that size should be in constant and pristine working order. Speaking of cold, they should try heating the pool. That was a chief complaint of my family and others we chatted with at the pool. Again, it’s about comfort. While I am on about the pool, two times the “pool towel” dispensers were empty and the towels were old and ratty. Even more empty was the service at the pool cabanas and we rented cabanas for three days of our stay. To be fair, one of three days there was “ok” service. Other than that the rooms were clean and sufficient. However, I feel they were over priced. Not only do I not recommend this resort. I will never stay there again…"

"We have spent almost a week at this beautiful house and we couldn't be happier with the experience. We are a family of 4 adults and loved the fact that there was enough room for us to gather but also to relax. The house is in a great location, the pool is one minute walking distance from the house and it is gorgeous, as well as the hot tub. What we enjoyed the most was the fact that the house is extremely well equipped. We enjoyed the bicycles and the beach equipment, especially the boogie boards, whose availability allowed us to try this sport for the first time, and the folding chairs that we used to watch the sunset at the beach. We loved the concept of using what the previous guests left behind (ketchup, salt, oil, etc.) so we didn't have to buy more. At the same time we paid it forward by leaving some things behind for others to use and enjoy. We truly enjoyed our stay, it was like being home away from home."

"This home was just perfect for our time on the Big Island. The place was spotless upon arrival and was very well stocked. Lots of room for all of us in the living spaces, and the backyard ... a moment of silence! The view was amazing and we spent many hours just enjoying it. The pool was the perfect size and depth. The bedrooms were spacious with nice linens, and the en-suite bathrooms in each bedroom were appreciated. I would be remiss not to mention how much we enjoyed the complimentary golf cart that took us to the store, the private beach, and beyond. Thank you Gather Vacations for a fab time."
