"Accurate listing. Ever-changing panorama of the Apuan Alps. Continuous cool air flow down from the mountain. Lovely view of the castle. Comfortable bed and spacious bedroom. Screens on windows and doors. Spacious outdoor deck (no living room, but that did not matter since we relaxed outside). Ate all our meals outdoors. We cooked all our meals the entire week. Full sized refrigerator."

"After a precarious drive up, we were blown away by the views and pool at this property. It is breath taking. There is a wonderful restaurant just up the road and a fantastic town below. "Guiglia is a wonderful small town that's centrally located in Emilia Romagna. We are 2 couples that stayed for a week and the location was a centrally located to Bologna, Modena and Parma. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The house was unique and had a number of architectural touches that made this a memorable stay. it was spacious, has a large yard with a covered pagoda, above ground pool and hot tub. "We chose Violetta's place in search of relaxing holidays with a lot of walking/going trekking and reading and we were not dissappointed. The village Montefegatesi is a beauty in itself. Sunrise, sunset or spangled sky - you get the best views there. We made several nice tours. You don't even need a map or app because most of the tracks are well signposted. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, rustic house high above the Bagna di Lucca valley. Charming bedrooms and bathroom on the top floor, comfortable spacious living room on first floor and huge well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor (worthy of a castle!) with doors leading onto the sunny terrace, perfect for dining and relaxing. "We stayed in the Garden unit for 9 days in mid July. The property is beautiful and Alessandro and his family are wonderful people and great hosts. They were very accommodating to our family by amending the pool hours. The property is perfectly situated to see many great areas around Bologna and all are within about an hours’ drive. The only issue we had was the heat. Unfortunately there were heat warnings throughout this part of Europe in July and the property is not set up yet to deal with...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Collemandina. The property was in excellent condition and Leonardo was very helpful with the check in process and also when we didn't have any hot water. The location is very picturesque and quiet. The only downside is that it is a little isolated. There is a restaurant near the property but it is probably a 20 minute walk up steep roads. We were very reliant on using the car to get everywhere when ideally there would be some amenities a little bit closer."
