The Sea Temple is a lovely hotel with a great relaxing atmosphere, well looked after facilities, modern rooms (not to forget the incredible spa bath) and fantastic food! My husband & I stayed for our honeymoon. We enjoyed our stay. Room was spacious (D250) Inroom appliances were great. It was nice to have a washer/dryer, dishwasher & double door fridge. You know how you're often disappointed after arriving at a venue that you've booked online? This is NOT one of those venues! What a spectacular location. Shantara Resort was everything we'd hoped for and more. Fantastic facilities, very clean and well cared for. All staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Very well located on the main street between the inlet and the beach. Generous size rooms and an outside balcony overlooking some greenery. Laundry facilities are not in the room but they are free and accessible. The car park is very tight and would not suit a large car but overall a great place to stay in Port Douglas, and reception staff we’re very friendly

The dishwasher didn't work in Villa 5 The breakfast menu was a little disappointing considering it was supposed to be ala carte breaky included in package. We paid good money to stay there.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed with honest and friendly advice on the hotel's services, places of interest including available tours and being shown around our room. Nice to have some good old-fashioned service.

Excellent position right in town. Restaurants, pubs, supermarket, and the beach are all within a 5 minute walking distance radius. The managers were excellent, giving us advice on where to eat, as well as lending us some toys to keep our 18 month year old happy!

Neat and tidy motel in a good spot. Older fit out but very good for the prices, plenty of free parking and free wifi.

Wow amazing. If anybody has any complain about this hostel it's because they havnt been in many hostels before. One of the best hostel I've ever been in. Amazing staff, that made our days better and gave us great great recomendations on what to do every day. We were very impressed with this hotel. Lovely welcoming staff make a trip so much more enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, and plenty of room for your own food. TV has a few austar channels and there is a DVD player for which you can borrow dvds from the kiosk for free. Pool area and bbq were very clean.
