"I can't praise the staff enough, they, particularly Yale, went beyond the call of duty to assist us. Although, there are some stairs up to the rooms, help was available to carry our bags. The room was clean and tidy. I wish we could have spent a couple more nights."

"The hotel has Amazing views of the surrounding hills & city . It is just 10 mins walk into the historical town downhill . We got very in expensive taxi back up the hill ! The restaurant is excellent serving local dishes and breakfast superb. However the best part of the stay was definitely the personnel . All staff were courteous & very helpful, however David on front desk was simply outstanding and could not have been more helpful- arranging /recommending tours ,visits and restaurants . I would highly recommend this charming small hotel . "

"Great location-just 1 block north of Plaza Grande (as hotels.com says but contrary to what Google maps say as of today: and you'll need to tell cabs/ubers/...). My room was quite quiet despite of being right downtown. The people running the hotel are very friendly and helpful. I'd certainly stay at Casa Colonial again."

"Hotel is renovated in historic district Nights were chilly but a heater was provided. Breakfast was served at time requested. Beds were comfy. An elevator was available for mobility problems. Having coffee available in the lobby would have made my stay perfect. "
