"This was my second time staying at Occidental and it was great. The food is good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The resort is clean and well maintained. I am a certified diver and them having their own dock and dive shop is great. We will definitely be going back."

"the food was not very good. It would be nice to have access to water at the pools and bars. I would suggest a water cooler so you can get water whenever you want. It was my granddaughters 18th birthday and the staff put a sign and balloons on the door and delivered a cake which was very nice. The rooms could use an upgrade. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. I felt very safe at the resort. I would say that the resort is very family friendly. It would have been nice to have more activities at the pool. The beach was very nice."

Breakfast buffet was great, lunch options by the pool were outstanding, especially Maria’s tacos and quesadillas, those were probably the best food we had during our stay! Unfortunately, dinner was not great and there’s room for improvement there in terms of quality and variety."
