"This hotel is not as bad as some people reviews it, but I do have to say it needs major updates. The AC is bad, 9th floor the lowest it went was 21.5C and they gave me a second room and was same. Plus there was a couple of roaches. They cut the water twice while we were showering without announcing it. Food was fine to us, servers specially in the italian restaurant seems tired and very mean specially the younger ones. I would like to give a big shoutout to Andrea at front desk and to Jose Juan at the Cruceros bar. Yolanda at the breakfast grill. Thank you guys. Entertainment is boring, how is it that we’re in MEXICO and the music is in English? Come on! This is sad! Where did they lose their culture ? i went a few years ago nothing like this time. I love the views and the food mainly but if there’s no major updates no one is going back. "

"What a perfect place to stay. We were looking for something a bit away from the touristy center of town, and definitely away from the all inclusive resorts, we wanted the REAL Cozumel and we got it. The neighborhood is fine and the apartment was beyond our hopes. We cooked in the kitchen every morning, then ate breakfast on the roof, which is the real secret to this property. We figured we'd want to hang out in the pool at sunset each day and we did but we were surprised how MUCH time we spent up there, breakfast before we headed out for the day, definitely sunset, epic, but also at night we enjoyed hanging out up there star gazing, listening to the sounds of the neighborhood and really soaking up the vibe. There's a public park a block or two away and we enjoyed watching the kids play soccer and pickup basketball every night."

"Wow….been to a lot of places but this was the best ever. Pool in the back, ocean in the front, kind friendly staff, It was wonderful throughout. The only two negatives was twice there was people smoking near the public area/restaurants, I couldn’t understand this. The pillows were flat. But over all it was above and beyond in every other way."

"Wonderful spot. Lots of privacy. The pool was wonderful. The house was clean and fully equipped for cooking or grilling outside. Plenty of room in the house with lots of porch and patio space. We loved it."

"Villas Samna are in a idyllic garden setting in the midst of the jungle. The gardens are beautifully groomed. The hosts Marina, Diana, Blanca and Tanya are so warm and kind, making our stay delightful!"

"The property was in some disrepair. Unfortunately, it has not been maintained as well as we had expected. This included no hot water in one of the buildings. We also had to request someone to come clean the property, as it was dirty upon arrival. The owner obliged the following day.The pool was clean and well maintained throughout our stay. The property is large, lush and private. Good location to beaches, as well as groceries and downtown. We made the best of it and the kids enjoyed our stay. "
