"This is a super unique property, chiseled into the side of a mountain above Santa Cruz, in the Santa Cruz range no less. Excellent and amazing hiking right near by at Castle Rock State Park. Lovely and interesting interior and a killer fire pit by which to enjoy dappled dusk and darkness. Highly recommended. "

"I loved the space of the house and the gorgeous views all around. It was comfortable for 3 of us and we loved the hot tub. Also the kitchen was very easy to work in and the deck was easy to enjoy. Our one difficulty was the driveway. The loose gravel was very hard on my car getting up that steep angle. I have a large SUV and it was incredibly awkward trying to maneuver that, but everything else was great."

"Beautiful property with amazing decks! It’s obvious this was once a high end home, and is now a rental (carpets show their wear, etc). But for the price, in that area, we were very happy. We fit 2 families with 10 teens/adults very comfortably. Some things were left undone by the cleaning staff, so we went searching for sheets, hand towels, toilet paper etc, but the bathrooms were very clean and the owner was super responsive and sent someone that same day to finish the rest."

"We enjoyed our stay and the manager and staff were very friendly. The place was comfortable and we had a fun time. Kitchen supplies were skimpy and not adequate for 4 people (not enough plates, cups, bowls, pots), luckily we brought paper plates, foil to make due."
