The sheets on the bed were pilling and uncomfortable to sleep on and the room had a really musty smell to it. Friends were in the room beside us and their room had the same smell.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We will investigate the "Musty smell" and see what can be done about it. Wee are shortly going to be closed for a 13 month renovation and expansion reopening in June 2025, with brand new furnishings and linens. Hope to see you next year.

Stayed on 2nd floor. The hallways smell bad and there were only blinds in the room so as soon as the sun came up at 6 am, it was like someone turned on the lights.

I am sorry about the smells encountered during your stay. we try to deodorize and vent the hallways when people leave odor behind, unfortunately During Fest-Of-Ale there are many different odors by multiple perfumes and body sprays and it can be difficult to keep up. With our upcoming REnovations and expansion I will make sure that the design team takes into account the requests we have received for blackout curtains.

Stains on bed sheets where my kids slept and did not notice untill i went to wake them up with thier face right on the stain.

Sorry about the stain issue we do try our best to ensure that stained sheets are taken out of circulation until we can treat them, but in our rush to get rooms ready they are sometimes missed. We do apologize and will be conducting a review with our housekeeping staff to make sure it does not happen again.

For the price, the room was much more spacious than I expected. Although they don't do housekeeping unless requested, the staff responded promptly whenever we asked for something. And Penticton itself is very underrated.

Wonderful staff. Great price. Walking distance to many things. Only downfall is that the rooms are very bright at night. It’s like daylight in there even with the blinds down.

Loved our time here! It's location is awesome perfect to go anywhere from. The bears Den is a really good breakfast restaurant, has one of the best eggs Benedict I've had in awhile. The staff to you are super accommodating. I had to add an extra night and they added the extra night with no frustrations or anything. 10 out of 10 will be coming back

Check in receptionist was rude, the a/c in the room doesn’t work, and there is no roll away bed, or even a sofa .

I am sorry for the issues you experienced. We do note in the hotel details that there are no roll-away beds available, this is due to there not being space in most of our rooms to accommodate a roll-away. If you wished for a room with a sofa-bed you should have booked out Family Suite which has 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. We apologize for your issues with the A/C we will bring it up with our maintenance department immediately
