"Shocked at the prices"

"Everything about this place feels very dated especially the rooms. Best part was the water pressure was good but unfortunately our drain was nearly completely backed up so while showering would fill up (and it was in the fill up position to allow water to drain). Check in took surprisingly long considering I prepaid. They had cookies for guests but they were devoid of flavor. Parking was also a challenge when we got back late one night as the hotel doesn’t seem to have an adequate sized lot. "

"NORMAN IS AS WARM AND WELCOMING AS HE WAS 4 YEARS AGO WHEN I LAST STAYED AT THIS HOTEL. HE WAS EVEN WILLING TO WORK WITH ME FOR A POTENTIAL REFUND IF I HAD TO LEAVE PASO ROBLES EARLIER THAN MY PLANNED STAY. MY VEHICLE WAS BEING REPAIRED IN PASO ROBLES, AND NORMAN WAS KIND ENOUGH TO CHECK WITH ME ON THAT PROGRESS AND HOW THINGS WERE GOING. VERY KIND STAFF AT THIS HOTEL, AND A VERY NICE PLACE TO STAY. "

"The facility is very nice and modern. The staff is amazing, extremely helpful and courteous. Where the hotel lacks is in amenities. They have a so-called restaurant which basically falls down to a bar with bar food. A bit frustrating since the nearest restaurant is over 5 miles away. Breakfast should be included for the price that they charge. Overpriced for what is offered."

"The front door has a decent gap between door and threshold, put a towel against the door to keep the draft out. Also, in the morning discovered ants in the bed."
