"The hotel was very well taken care of. The breakfast was great, they had a wide variety of breakfast items to choose from. The scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage & potatoes with gravy were great."

"Cute ranch style motel with really large rooms. Well appointed. Loved the leather chair and the minimalist decor. Cowboy theme was not overly done. Very nice tack room for breakfast. Walkable to downtown shops, wineries, and restaurants. We walked to The Alchemist for dinner. Great stay!"

"Overall, the hotel was nice. Our room looked recently renovated. It was large, nicely decorated and comfortable. Zero hallway noise. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Staff was friendly and accommodating Cons: 1 elevator for this size property is not good. The wait was too long. The coffe at breakfast was not drinkable. Had the consistency of dirty water. There is a Starbucks nearby that my husband went to every morning. "

"We have stayed here before and were very happy with it. Clean, well lit room, nice bed and shower facilities. We bring a lot of our own meals with us and had plenty of space to put everything, tho a combo frig/freezer would have been better. Spacious, good storage, well laid out. Friendly staff. A few minor items- the toilet is very small and can be hard to get off of. The wifi has been improved, and works well- TV was easy to work and very intuitive. Not a lot of eateries in true walking distance, but plenty of options within a very short drive, also grocery store and Starbucks for the coffee addict. Excellent no-frills place for the budget conscience."

"The Ava hotel has only been open for one year. We met the owners, and they are so nice. There are so many great amenities, and the tasting rooms often stop by for free tastings for hotel guests. The hotel is right in the heart of downtown, so everything is walkable. The hotel aesthetic is top-tier. I love everything about the hotel. There’s a market on weekends where you meet a lot of the locals that own many of the shops downtown. "
