"Very quant small boutique accommodation in a secluded area of Quopes about 30 minute drive away. Right on a beautiful beach which black sand. More of a location for decompresion than chocked full of activities. Miles of beach to walk on, especially good at low tide where a 100 yards of the beach is exposed. Owner is fabulous, help me set up day trips. Have to drive down a dirt road 3 miles to get to the resort. Again, isolated area."

"We were notified ahead of time that the pool was not available and could cancel the reservation even though the internet said non-refundable. We stayed there anyway but appreciated the effort. We arrived late and tired on a Thursday and were told that it is the one night each week that the restaurant is closed. This was frustrating for us. Wish they noted that on the amenities list. But we did eat there the next night and it was amazing food!!! The breakfast was also delicious and generous!"
