"Food was excellent! Beach was great! But there were no hot water in the shower. Only warm water. Presdure in the shower was very low. There wasnt a single hook in the bathroom. So towel for shower we has to put on the toilet.Waiting for breakfast at Boca restaurant was quite a while.Waiting for the boat in Cancun Marina was almost 2 hours. Steam room at the spa didnt work. Elevator to roof top was broken for 2 days out of 5 day we stayed at resort. For the price $920 per night I expected more."

"We had our 3 adult daughters with us with their spouses, and we had plenty of room. The two pools were excellent and so very enjoyable. We had a chef come in to make a meal and it was superb. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were great. We did rent the guest house as well and that was a huge bonus. The host was great and definitely helped us with check-in check out and also other recommendations for beach clubs, and where to eat. We also had him come in and do massages and it was great."

"We had a wonderful stay at Casa de las Olas! The location was the standout for us! It was quiet, with very little street noise, and just a beautiful spot on the island. Waking up to the sunrises here was a treat. It was away from the hustle and bustle of the north end.The rooms were generously sized and stayed nice and cool thanks to the air conditioning, which was a relief after a day out exploring. We were also pleasantly surprised to find the house stocked with provisions on arrival like eggs, bacon, cheese, milk, coffee, wine, beer, and some snacks, which made settling in so easy.The pool was a great spot to relax and unwind. One thing to note: the common areas aren't air conditioned, so on the hottest days we found ourselves gravitating to the front porch in the evenings once things cooled down a bit (which ended up being one of our favorite parts of the day anyway).Overall, we loved our stay and would absolutely come back here if we're on Isla Mujeres again. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely property and responsive staff. Julia is wonderful in answering any inquiries or helping with reservations for additional needs. The rising sun views are breathtaking in this house. The outdoor cooking area with its own wash basin and bathroom are an added plus to the table and chairs. The pool is another plus for cooling off, along with the lounge chairs and flooties. We only had issues with their lack of enough working flashlights (needed when the island’s power goes down) and lighting the kitchen’s gas oven (minimal directions in their house manual and our unfamiliarity with oven). Both of these concerns were addressed by their sending folks to the house. I would only suggest that saran wrap, foil, ziplock bags and more than 3 tubberware-type containers would really help large families who enjoy cooking and Bar BQing. These are entirely missing at this house and make it so difficult to save leftovers. We highly recommend this immaculate, beautiful home!"
