"The pictures looked great, the rooms did not match the pictures. One room was pretty musty and dark. The room we stayed in had no hot water in the shower and it took 3 days to fix. "Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely home a couple of times. It's a spacious home that allows people to relax. The architecture and color scheme are wonderful. The home evokes great Mexican architects. My favorite feature is the expansive pool-house, which has a kitchen, a dining table, a living room, and, a fully open front, facing the pool. I spent a wonderful evening there on a rainy night, playing board games with my friends, feeling the wind, and hearing the rain, but still fully protected from the water. It's also a great place to have breakfast. The rooms are large and comfortable. There are some upscale bars up the hill in San Felipe, and Oaxaca City is very close by."

"The ambiance is great. The food at the restaurant is fabulous. Everything we ate was great. They regularly showcase Oaxacan artists. Every two months, apparently. The place is very clean. They also have a free shuttle that takes you downtown, as the hotel is located about 15-20 minutes from the center. The staff is very responsive to your needs. They are dialed in. The only downside was the quality of the WIFI. This may have more to do with the surrounding area and not the hotel. There were work crews in the neighborhood attending to the matter."

Food was good, pool was clean, very quiet hotel, which is exactly what we were looking for.
