Budget option for Paris. The room size is okay. The shower drain was clogged and I had to change to another room after the first night. The shower pressure was a bit small. AC was not super powerful. The bed was comfortable.

Staff were extremely respectful and helpful, especially as I was having trouble with the washing machine application. The location was convenient and we were able to find restaurants and shops within a comfortable walking distance. I would stay here again

Appart from the fact that it is a little far from the nearest train/metro station, this hotel was really nice. Staff is friendly and available 24/7. Hotel is clean and ecological. Bed was comfy.

Very nice, but not without problems
The Student Hotel was a good experience, but it was so close to being a a great one. My two sons and I spent 10 nights here in a family size room (three beds). Throughout that stay, the staff was very nice, but occasionally did open the door through the do not disturb sign. I our particular room, on my particular bed, the headboard would regularly shake when the surrounding room doors were closed, which could make mornings annoying. Everything was kept very clean, however, in a room meant for 4 people, there is one chair and zero desks. There are shared kitchens, but as tourists, we were not given access to those, however there is no fridge in the room and no way to make anything cool. This was very aggravating; no way to keep leftovers or just a snack cool. One of my sons is Type 1 Diabetic, so we like to keep a snack available, and were very limited to our options because there was no dorm fridge. But I would emphasize that the staff was very nice, the room was very clean, the walk to the metro was reasonable (though not short) and we enjoyed our stay. The price was fantastic, and we are very happy with our stay. However, the sub-par items: nowhere to sit, no fridge, thin walls, will not make our return certain, but we would not be upset to return, we really like the hotel.

Love The Student Hotel
I am in France to practice and improve my French and understanding of French culture. The Student Hotel has exceeded my expectations in every possible way: Location, convenience, friendly and professional personnel and a pool! I highly recommend this hotel.

First of all I wanted to redeem a night using my phone and it was difficult - I tried a few time receiving an error and I tried a last time and it said that the room has already been booked but did not redeem my night and did not send me a confirmation email. Weird. The hotel gave me a twin room when the hotel was basically empty - it would have been nicer if they gave me a double. The sheets in one bed had stains (see photo) - I had to sleep on the other side. Someone started to do works outside the window at 6am! So, I'm sorry but I was not an happy customer

A simple version of the student hotel
Simple hotel in a good location. If you've stayed in a student hotel before you'll notice lack of facilities in the hotel (food trucks, bar etc) since this one is very small. But overall same design of rooms, a pool and all we needed for our short stay. Very r ready access to the centre as well.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and outside patio was really nice. Rooms with balconies are amazing. Bathrooms were spacious. Being able to use shared kitchen with fridge was amazing because we could cook when late for meals. Has two of each: a fridge , microwave, stoves and ice s with lots of seating and a balcony with great view. Only Downside was the bed as it’s two twins pushed together and we could sink it between and they would separate. Overall I love this hotel and would definitely stay again.

I liked that this hotel had reasonable prices, was clean and updated, had a comfortable bed, had a swimming pool, and had friendly, helpful staff. I liked the location of the hotel. Most nights were quiet on 5th floor, which was good. The last night on the 2nd floor was somewhat noisy when I was trying to sleep at night. It would have been nice to have a mini frig in my room. The shower floor was very slippery and maybe could use a bath mat for safety. I was pleased with this hotel.

Clean, comfort hotel, near metro and Carefour
Very clean hotel locate in a quite area. The hotel is near Metro (5 mins walk) however it may take you a bit walk to upstairs and a bit confused to find the way, but no problem you can find it easy. Metro can connect you to city centre around 20mins and connect yoh to REB line to CDG (in 60mins with 12 Eur). It’s value for money. Room is a bit small, basic, no water complementary but still very comfortable. Staff is friendly and supportive.

This will be my mainstay hotel in Paris
The hotel and the staff were amazing! The location was perfect, not in the city but so close it was perfect. The general area was safe and the local residents were friendly and accommodating. The room was big, bathroom good size, shared kitchen was great and laundry facility was a plus!

This hotel room is extremely small. we paid close to $300 for one night. It was non-cancelable. We found many other hotels within the city of Paris for $100-$150 in a better location and much nicer. We felt that we were overcharged for a youth hostel style room. We would probably never use hotels.com again. Because of this. We were very disappointed with the location and the services and most of all the price

Great find!
Overall, great value! Nice staff, clean and modern room with kitchenette, above average facilities (an outdoor pool in Paris is not easy to find!) and a 2 minute walk from a well stocked small grocery store (with a great wine selection!) The only slight negative is its distance to the core. However, if you don’t mind the trek it’s only a 5 - 7 minute walk from the La Defense Esplanade Metro Station on the yellow line that will get you downtown Paris in 25 minutes or so.

For me it's a great location. 12mins to the centre of La Defense, 6mins to a 2nd customer, lots of small good restaurants all around. The hotel is basic but well done and comfortable. The staff are friendly and personable. WiFi is good. I will come here again.

Great Staff
We are Americans that were visiting Paris for the first time. As soon as we walked through the door the staff greeted us. They were very pleasant, helpful, and funny. The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are basic. Location is good, not too far (1/2 - 1 mile) from the tram to Paris. Although, to get to the train station and back, you will have to go up and down several flights of stairs and over walkways, the route can be confusing, and easy to loose your bearings,particularly on the return trip.
