"For me, the main reason to stay in a hotel is to get sleep which requires a comfy bed, darkness and quiet. Unfortunately here the windows are very old sash style windows which are not double glazed and have lots of gaps. There were several broken locks and handles indicating they know this is an issue. Previous occupants have also tried with bits of cardboard jammed in the window and toilet paper in the window vent which was broken and open to the elements. In summary on the window, you can...
