"Rooms and fixtures were rather outdated, but experience was very good. Appreciated free shuttle to/from Otsu station. Great view from room, but limited dining options nearby. Hotel restaurants were adequate."

"Breakfast buffet is very nice. It is mostly Japanese food but there is also western food as well. Dinner is Japanese and is quite formal and big. I was surprised by the good quality and quantity of the dinner."
