"A clean, very well equipped apartment on a lovely quiet little street. Looks like a very recent renovation of an historic building. We had a bit of a problem getting in as the instructions were sent very late, and it’s totally automated. However, after that, communication was very good. "Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft. Es zwar nicht alles hundertprozent perfekt aber man erkennt die Mühe, die man sich macht. Es ist alles da was man braucht, sogar Kaffee und Kaffee (Mokka) Kocher war vorhanden. Dadurch dass man zuerst durch ein verschlossenes Portal und dann erst durch die Wohnungstüre muss fühlt man sich sehr sicher! My gripe is with Wonderful Italy in general and the impossibly slow or broken internet at the property. Upon arriving to Ortegia two hours prior to check-in, the team was TERRIBLE at communicating. "Beautiful hotel, breakfast spread was brilliant and room extremely clean. Staff were all so lovely and attentive. We had a great first afternoon at the pool bar and were very well looked after by a young man who went above and beyond - sorry we did not catch his name."

"Our first room had a problem with the air conditioning and they graciously provided an alternative. We checked in with an extra guest and they accommodated us. Then the host helped our daughter find transportation to the airport. I erroneously had us checking out one day early and they were able to add an extra day for us. I cannot say enough about Gabriella and her excellent English and absolute kindness. We gave this hotel every chance to make this trip stressful but they were not having it! 10/10!"

"I had to book a new hotel last minute and the single room with balcony was available. As a solo traveller what more do you need? I am honestly very grateful I booked this room. Even though the bathroom is very old and could use a bit of lipstick and the shower was a bit of a chaotic experience I still really enjoyed my stay here. Nothing beats the sound of the ocean in the morning, the beautiful ocean view, and the ocean breeze. Ortigia was my favourite stop on my three week trip. And I have the hotel and staff there to thank for helping out with that."

"It is located in a perfect area, however parking close by is $1.50 an hour. Room was rather small, and shower leaked all over the floor. All common area are unairconditioned, all though each guest room has AC ( they will turn it off when they make up your room ). Breakfast just ok - nothing special. Would I stay there again - probably not as it really is a sweat box."

"Great location in the old town and wonderful little hotel. Rooms were v clean and comfortable. The hotel is situated on a little pedestrianised lane containing numerous shops and restaurants. We were recommended a fish restaurant a few meters away and it was excellent. Staff there v helpful in choosing wines to match our food. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. They arranged for car parking and notifying authorities about waiving fees for entering old town."
