Beautiful hotel

We loved staying at Mangia's Brucoli. The staff was extremely service minded and professional, the hotel is beautiful and a perfect place so spend vacation days with out three kids. Several good restaurants as well

This is a gorgeous resort hotel that has excellent service, beautiful location. The pool is next level gorgeous next to sea. Good dining. Excellent staff and concierge can book day trips. Just note that beach access is too rocky to swim. There are many stairs all around so hotel is not accessible. Also not much near by. Highly recommend. Very romantic destination. Great honeymoon location. Very happy with our stay. Thank you!

Nice hotel for area. Good food.

Great hotel once you get to property. Not the best area around it, over ran and dirty, but property other than beach is nice. Restaurant was great! Beds are very comfortable.

Wonderful resort

Excellent stay at newly renovated resort. Was upgraded to superior room. Friendly and helpfull staff and nice pool area. The breakfast was amazing!! All in all highly recommended.

Positives: - reception staff are extremely welcoming and helpful - the main pool is great - variety of food options at dinner buffet Negatives: - breakfast / dinner / poolside service is terrible, inefficient and chaotic (tables not cleared, food not replenished, no knives and forks etc) - management issue not the fault of any of the servers - generally quite dated look to the resort - rooms are too dark - no water to shower one evening - overpriced

Very nice and spacious resort

Wonderful place! Lots of space, great service, nice pool though I wish the water were warmer. I wish they had a hot tub for cooler days. The reservation restaurant wasn’t as nice as the restaurant by the ocean. The area surrounding the resort was run down, but that’s not their fault. Overall an incredible place to stay.

A really peaceful stay in a very well equipped resort. We stayed in a superior suite which was absolutely excellent and the food on offer was always to a high standard. We had a car so it was easy to visit the neighbouring towns and villages but without a car it would have been impossible. Therefore, if you want to see more than just the hotel you do need a rental. Overall very pleased.

The resort has an array of facilities – pools, basketball and soccer courts, restaurant and spa. They also have a fair amount of dining options. The front desk staff were very helpful and kind. Georgia helped me find a local osteopath to treat a recurring back issue, which helped. I do think the house keeping of the rooms need to pay more attention to details – my room wasn’t swept properly and the bathroom has hair from the previous guest.

Ok but uneven experience

Great grounds. Lots of recreational options. Recommend booking a room with swim-up pool. Good options for food in the surrounding local area - worth exploring Brucoli and Augusta. Service was uneven - from really good (reception, cleaning) to downright unhelpful (the restaurants).

Ok hotel - great pool and sun beds

Pools and sun bed area by the ocean are amazing. Breakfast is good and the restaurants are decent. The service is not that great but I would not expect much more from a hotel in Sicily. One thing that was a disappointment was the ”boat service” to Brucoli that didn’t go a single day during our stay due to bad weather. However the weather was fine and instead we had to take a taci for 20€. Overall good stay

Hotel in the middle of nowhere, you need a car to go and see stuff. Hardly any entertainment. One bar at night , beer sold in small bottles or half pints. Expensive. Swimming pool amazing. Staff lovely . Room clean hit and miss. Nit good food choice on menus and restaurants booked in advance. No snack bars if you get hungry during the day/ night.

We were terribly disappointed with our stay at Mangia’s. This is a three star villaggio turistico trying to be a five star resort. The place and the location on the water is lovely but the staff does not understand service. If you are looking for five star service you will not find it here. The structure is also not designed to be at all hospitable when it rains.

Arrived earlier than check in - told to use the facilities in the meantime and they’d call us when the room was ready. But they didn’t. Then gave us limited information at check in like eg where breakfast was. Waiters genuinely didn’t have a clue - such slow service. Worst meal of my life at Lime Bar. Staff didn’t tidy up after previous guests. The room smelt of very strong cleaning products but not in the positive sense. Corridors leading to our room reminded me of an old people’s home. Nothing about this was 5 star. Very lovely waiter at the sushi restaurant, however. He was the only positive.

A spacious hotel with extensive grounds and facilities. Being May and off peak it was not full and so had a relaxed vibe. It was easy to get seated in the restaurants and bar. Service good if slow and staff very friendly. We had a small issue as our booking wasnt transmitted properly from Expedia and so it was unclear to the hotel we had booked half board. A few suggestions for improvements would be that houskeeing were a bit random about changing towels/emptying bins etc. One day our shower mat disappeared and was not replaced until the next day Our minibar was totally empty until 2 days before we were leaving (not that we used it anyway) and there was no way to spread towels out to dry. The variety on the buffet for dinner was great but hot food was not really any more than warm. If there was a way to improve this and maybe heat the pkates that would help. The black rice and sushimi we had one night as part of the buffet were particularly good. Pizza restaurant was good and we also tried the a la carte restaurant which was lovely. Great parking tip for Catania from the front desk. Thank you.

The hotel has lovely clean rooms, BUT: biggest problem is the lack of service - poor service quality, personnel is not trained, long waiting lines for the cocktail bar, equipements and incredients missing, long waiting times (somedays over an hour for a drink and a sandwich), personel forgets commands very often / there is no pool bar - out of 5 restaurants only the buffet restaurant with a small and very expensive à la carte and a pizzeria open - pizza is delicious but the service is awful, long waiting times and lacking of dishes on the menu over two weeks (f.e. Burrata - the traditional italian mozzarella is missing) - poor service at the à la carte restaurants even if we payed 180 euros for 2 people; people are leaving after 1 hour without even having commanded - breakfast is good quality but the service often did not fill the missing plates and there is no changement of dishes - the pool is lovely and clean and large !! - there is NO acces to the sea, because the hotel did not maintain the acces, its only cliffs and concrete, also waste is laying around - the sun deck is closed - music is playing everywhere and everytime non stop! - beside a nice fitness room an d tennis courts there are no other activities such as pingpong or volleyball (closed) or billiard - contrary to what we were told, we did not see any live music at the bar - room service worked but it was complicated to order and they forget to retacke the plates - massage was pretty good

Beautiful resort with plenty to do. We had glorious weather and lived the pool areas and multiple access to the sea. Gym was great and we enjoyed all the dining options. We opted to to the wine tasting which was great - met some lovely people and the staff were great.
