I paid for a single room but was not expecting to be put in a room where you could hear the kitchen extractor fan. I called reception and they told me that it would not be switched off until 9pm and then it would start again in the morning for breakfast. I asked to be moved to another room, which they did but nobody should be put in room 35. The noise was unbearable. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

One of the best unchained hotels ever. What you can see on pictures is in real. Very nice and helpful staff. Comfy bed, clean room and nice shower. Food was amazing. Sunday roast on different level. One of the best dining experience !

Nice, clean, and comfortable room. Three are restaurants half a mile or so away so possible to walk. Breakfast was adequate, but too expensive for the quality. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and were thrilled with the room.

Best gym/spa area in town, with great staff
I’ve stayed at The Beeches a couple of times when I need to be in town, mainly due to the extensive gym and calming spa area. On the last trip though, I discovered that the staff are amazing, they went above and beyond to help out, so now I’ll be returning also for the fabulous hospitality. And the Sunday roast!

Fantastic stay
Arrived at the hotel for my birthday, the room was lovely. Very clean and smelt nice too, fresh towels on the beds. Everything we needed for our stay, the staff where all lovely, very welcoming and the lady behind the bar was great.

Hotel was in a great spot for the town centre. Leisure facilities were nice. Bar was nice and the breakfast was good too.

FREEZING - NO HEATING IN ROOM IN JANUARY !!!
This must be one of the WORST experiences I’ve had. Arrived in January to no heating in the room. Question reception and was told it was on a timer ! Who’s choosing that heating shouldn’t be on in a room when guests arrive!!?? I was told that heating was on in other rooms but as they were full they count move me! I was offered a portable heater which was ok. Adequate. However the bathroom was so cold it was like walking into a refrigerated room - better as an extra cold storage for the kitchen than a bathroom! When you turn the the lights on the fan also comes in so draws a residual heat from the tiny radiator (that was on) out. However that was also on a timer and so the bathroom remained like a fridge. I had to put towels in the floor because it was tiled and so cold and shower in the dark because that was the only way to at least retain some warmth from the hot water. This is absolutely crazy and unacceptable to not allow the guest to have control of the heating - if you have a timer it should be going off from check out time to check in - but then I still feel sorry for any guest that are there longer than overnight. The front desk and restaurant people were sympathetic but this overshadowed the whole stay. Shame because the room was good otherwise and the food in restaurant was lovely. Note - I have reviewed this on the hotels own website which asked if I would like a call back - I put yes but haven’t heard anything for over a week?

We apologise you found the room to be cold on your arrival and we hope the portable heater provided helped warm the room up whilst the main heating kicked in. Return visit, stayed a year ago and was very impressed. Made full use of the gym, pool, hot tub and sauna and an exceptional evening meal in the restaurant. Our favourite hotel.

The hotel was just what I needed after a busy day at work. The spa/gym is well equipped and an added bonus. The staff were excellent and I will definitely be looking to stay again.

The hotel was very nice and the room was spacious and clean. However i was woken up at 0600 hrs by the chef clattering about and a very loud extractor fan or boiler below my room. It wasn't just my room affected, all three of my friend's in the same block also complained about the noise. These rooms should either be sound proofed or not used.

The hotel was very good a typical older property that had been converted so it's a bit of a rabbit warren however the room was excellent and the spa and gym facilities are as good as any 5star hotel it's close to all of Nottinghams sporting grounds which are well within walking distance. Highly recommended to anyone who is visiting Nottingham.

A gem at great value
What a gem. Perfect for my stay. The room wasn't spatious, but was more than adequate for what i needed. Great breakfast and fantastic gym and pool facilities too. I'd certainly be more than happy to stay at The Beeches again.

Small room on top of hotel. Room 39. Overpriced. Also has slope of roof in corners of room and really low. Bashed my head twice in one night. Not a good designed room.

All staff members were very friendly and helpful during my two day business stay at this hotel. The food in the restaurant for dinner was excellent on both evenings. Breakfast was fine with the typical fare and well stocked. Room was small but comfortable and clean. There is a bus stop right outside and a very easy commute by bus to East Midlands airport. A couple of pounds by bus as opposed to over £40 by taxi. Bus leaves you at Milford Green and then 5 short stops on a local bus along the same road to the hotel or an easy walk in a nice day from Milford Green

Nice hotel but so noisy. The walls really are very thin and you can hear other people in their rooms as well as movement above you. It was such a shame as the hotel is very clean, spa facilities were excellent and staff were very friendly.

Stayed here a few times now, Ideal location for going to Nottingham Forest FC, restaurant does some nice food and the breakfast is excellent. My only gripe is I really wish the rooms had air con as they get very warm in the summer. The gym facilities are excellent.
