Find a Great Motel Northwest Tasmania

Quiet nights, beautiful waterfront location and walks

We had a 2 night stay recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. The welcome was genuine and the rooms matched exactly what we had expected. The view from the room was awesome and the room itself was emaculate. The bed was super comfy and all creature comforts were available. Situated in the best position to explore the fishing port, and colonial buildings I would more than happily stay again. The restaurant was one of the highlights of our the stay. Fantastic food in a really cosy setting. If you...

Nice friendly motel, great views over the water. Appreciated comfort in the lounge whilst awaiting my delayed flight to King Island.

Very comfortable. Easy walk to shops, food info centre and many town murals. Nice local restaurants.

I stay every 3 months for work and the gym and pool are great, always followed by a nice meal.

From the time we stepped into Sunrise we were welcomed by helpful happy professional people. The rooms were clean and bed so so comfortable The French Restaurant was an unexpected delight We were treated so very special by a group of wonderful staff. The food delicious Thank you all for a memorable stay Vince and Wendy

Overall an excellent place to base yourself to explore the west coast region! The unit was very clean, modern, appeared new or recently refurbished and included all the elements to make for a stress free stay!!! It's a brief drive or 10 minute walk into central Strahan and local shops. I would definitely stay here again and happily recommend to others!

Very clean and quiet place. Easy parking, and close to everything. Breakfast includes fruit, cereal, coffee, and tea. Nothing fancy—just simple, which was exactly what we needed. Don’t hesitate, just stay here!

Friendly greeting on check in. Great that property had a swimming pool, restaurant and bar. Close proximity to beach, parks and town centre for cafes and restaurants. Good value for money.

Wow what a stay. Great views. Nice room and friendly staff. Would recommend!!

Loved it. The staff were all lovely and we are already planning pur next trip back.

After arriving at midnight due to the late departure on the Spirit Of Tasmania, it was lovely to get to the cabin to find a note offering an extra hour in the morning. Calling a day before explaining the delay the staff were lovely in offering an alternative to get in to the cabin, which was quick and easy. Super comfy beds all round, quiet, a short trip in to town. It really was a lovely place.

The manager and all staff were extremely helpful very accomodating, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for us or other guests. Very convenient location, good food, off street parking. Suited us perfectly
