"What I like the most was how welcoming the couple were. They even wanted us to stay longer for free. Not everything is about money but having happy guests. I love it , relaxing, fresh eggs and lot of different fresh foods. Clean and beautiful nature. I love it very much and thanks for the wonderful service. "We needed a dog-friendly home for a weekend away in the area to attend a party. Cottonwood Cottage is very sweet, with fantastic retro styling and a lovely garden. I was a bit taken aback on check in as it was not evident when booking that the cottage is actually a separate dwelling inside the bounds of the owner’s house. "We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is so very beautiful. My only note to the hosts would be to be a little clearer to guests that the kitchen doesn't have an oven, just the cooktop. (It was clear there was no microwave, but we were a little surprised there was no oven either). But we had a good adventure using the wood-fired pizza oven instead. Other than that tiny suggestion, we had a very lovely time."

"This was an amazing stay. The cottage suited us perfectly for a quiet time to relax and invigorate. The owner has seen to everything in detail, the extra touches are so thoughtful. The location was perfect for us, with quiet and privacy in a magnificent garden, yet not isolated as the main strip of Montville is merely a 5-minute drive away. With a grocery store, eateries and restaurants. We will definitely go back there! 5 star plus!!"

"Upon arrival, the cottage was presented as per the photos. The beds are super comfy, the cottage was very clean with lots of books and games to keep you entertained. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was a bit annoying is the property is located on a main street and the front bedroom can be a bit noisy. This may not be an issue if you are staying during the weekend, however, during the week the traffic noise can be disruptive to sleep. Recommend earplugs if you're a light sleeper."
