"My husband and I wanted a little spot to rest while visiting all of the beautiful places around the area. This little place was the perfect size for our needs. It was pretty cold, so we weren't able to enjoy the lovely firepit or the grill outside, but we enjoyed the cozy indoor fireplace and sitting in front of it in the evenings while we unwound from a day of adventure. Would highly recommend this place!"

"The house was nice and clean. The view was fabulous. A quiet area only a short drive to Niagara Falls. There were plenty of dishes/cup/glasses/etc. There were plenty of small appliances like toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker, tea kettle. Having an extra refrigerator stocked with water was a wonderful bonus. It was a great place for 3 generations to spend a long weekend together."

"We had a wonderful stay in this charming little cottage for our Eclipse Trip (April 8, 2024) The cottage is cozy with an updated bathroom. We appreciated having Netflix and everything to make coffee and tea. The location is perfect. Close to the lakefront, the Niagara River Trail, and to Queen Street with restaurants, shops, etc."

"Our dog joined us on our little get-away. Pauline was a great hostess, greeting us upon our arrival and giving Lucy treats, each time she saw her. And, she was anxious to walk Lucy for us when we were out antiquing, shopping or eating. The accommodations were cozy and comfortable. Just the right size for the two of us. "We made a trip North from Pa for a much needed weekend away. This was our third trip to the NOTL area. This property was so easily centric to everything we wanted to do. We walked everywhere downtown and to the grand Lake O! short drive to wineries, a golf outlet etc. The house was comfortable, charming and everything we needed for a weekend away from it all! "Carriage house is charming & VERY clean. Darren (Owner) met us when we arrived. He showed us around the property, told us of nice restaurants around. It is on a busy street but it quietens down at night. We were allowed to sit by the fireplace of the (his) house next door because no one was there. We would go back there again. "It looks good and it's secure. The place is well located inside the park and there are activities around to keep you busy. However; you have to read carefully the details of this place. You have to pay extra for the waterpark ($80 per day for two parents and two kids). And also bring basic stuff for your stay: oil cooking, plastic bags for your garbage, sugar for your coffee, etc."

"Our family of eight stayed here for six days. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The hosts are accommodating. However, the kids ran around from upstairs, even though it was quite late at night and we were trying to sleep in the lower level of the house. One of my relatives is handicapped and had difficulty going up the stairs because there was only one handrail for her to use, and she can only use one side of her body. Having handrails on both sides would be safest for anyone with mobility...

"House is wonderful but quite a walk from the falls. General cleanliness excellent. There was just the cutting board in the kitchen that hadn’t been cleaned. Used birthday candles and what looked like black mouse droppings were left on it. All else was clean. We enjoyed our stay."
