"Room was disappointing, paint peeling off the wall , room was above the kitchen so woken up very early with the noise from below. Room was very hot - window opened onto a flat roof so not safe to leave open as could be accessible . Food was disappointing . Wasn’t asked how my stay was at checkout ….. poor value for money ( totally over priced for what it is ) "

"Bit of a walk from the train station to the hotel (recommend taxi or uber), but once I got there, it was so nice to be able to relax in a comfy and spacious bed. Recommend going to the gym & swim facilities too; liked the steam room and lane swimming. Changing rooms excellent size. Relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff. Bed so comfy I accidentally slept 10 hours and almost missed breakfast, but when I did go down to eat, there was still plenty of choice and room to sit. Would have liked there...

"The staff and check in were great. Room standard is fine but cleanliness not up to scratch. It was obvious after spending a little time in the room no furniture had been moved during the clean (hair scrunchies under one chair, litter under another). Also the kettle was full of loose limescale. The biggest issue is the room location - room 306 faces the car park meaning cars, guests and the general public (who use the car park as a shortcut) passing close to your window noisily and frequently...
