The location of this hotel is perfection. You never have to drive unless you want to check out the state parks. Restaurants and bars and shops are steps from the main entrance. "

"Flume's End is hands down the most wonderful place we have stayed. Very eclectic, warm, inviting, fun, comfortable, clean and safe. We will make a trip to Nevada City JUST to stay here. It was magical."

"Couldn't have asked for a more pleasant, comfortable stay. The bed was heavenly, and the hotel is shockingly quiet for being so close to the highway. Nicely stocked breakfast selection. We had an issue with our toilet, and it was resolved very quickly and satisfactorily. Excellent value overall."

"Great place to crash if you're visiting the river, 10 minutes from Oregon Creek Park, which is an awesome spot to hit with kids. Pretty sparse surroundings and it's deep in the woods, so it's remote and private. Space itself is set up for 2 people, if you bring more people (wouldn't recommend more than 2 adults, 2 kids) you should bring an air mattress and your own bedding. It is a no frills space, so if there are items you consider essential to your world, bring them with you. It does have a powerful air conditioner which we were grateful for at the end of August. We'll be back, proximity to the river and the price can't be beat. Now that we know it's pretty rustic we will pack more essentials and be extra cozy there. "
