Lovely home with easy access to downtown! Communication with host was excellent - incredibly kind and responsive. Game room was great and we loved all the special touches (the house had holiday decorations up when we visited in mid December). Highly recommend if you’re planning a trip to the area!

A beautiful home away from home!

We stayed here on a long weekend with friends (3 couples total) and had the best time! We had everything we needed, had plenty of space for each couple and loved the view, sauna, and living room especially. Additionally, the host replied so promptly to all of our questions. One of our party was in a wheelchair which works out fine as long as there is a strong person to push the chair up the grade to the parking area. We would all definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous Home

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home for a month and truly wish I could have stayed longer. It’s nestled up among the pine trees with a complete private feeling yet a super short 5 min drive to Nevada City. Every attention to detail and warmth of the inside decor did not go unnoticed - definitely a wonderful “home away from home” (if not better). The host was absolutely incredible to work with, super accommodating, and available for anything during my stay. I highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

Special Family 4th of July Getaway

Our extended family of seven adults, two children and two dogs stayed here for two nights and loved the home. The game room was a hit and we enjoyed playing one of the many games provided. Very comfortable beds and a great kitchen to prepare meals for a large family. The kids loved the cereal bar and the adults appreciated the charging stations, coffee station and the miscellaneous bath necessities! Geeta was very responsive and so kind! Definitely recommend staying at Geeta's beautiful home!

Beautiful property the views made me feel like I was in posh treehouse. Close to town which made it easy to visit town. Sleep masks, lip balm, extra tooth brushes and lots of little extras. Foothills Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the house. It was spacious, comfortable, clean and had ample parking. Not only were all the usual necessities provided, but there were also some surprise snacks awaiting us. The home is conveniently located and our host was very informative and helpful with quick responses. We enjoyed mine tours, train museums, hiking, and shopping. The Crystal Hermitage Gardens made a perfect backdrop for family photos and our out-of-state relatives particularly enjoyed the area. We're all looking forward to a return visit.

Family Holiday Get together

Small family reunion (9 adults) gathered at the home during Christmas week. The house was clean and comfortable and Geeta was a great host. The main living area is large enough for all of us to gather around the fireplace, play games and make some nice memories. The downstairs area and game room probably best for youngsters, a bit cramped for adults to play!. We were happy we could bring our dog.

The perfect weekend getaway!

This was the best location for our Nevada city getaway! A group of 7 of us fit absolutely perfect in this home! Geeta was exceptional at communicating with me and giving me all the information we needed for our stay! She was even able to accommodate an early check in (given the availability)! The home was clean and welcoming! Only a 5 minute drive into the cute town of Nevada City! We enjoyed the wood fireplace, cozy bedrooms, and open living space for our friends getaway! We didn’t end up bringing our pup, but the home is dog friendly and had accommodations for furry friends! We would absolutely come back and stay here again!

Exceptional Property!

Everything about our stay was exceptional. We stayed at the property over a long weekend with our fairly large group (including toddlers and dogs) and found it to be spacious and comfortable. Not only was it spotless, but there were plenty of thoughtful details (toothpaste, soap, cereal, cookies, etc.) provided by the host. Furniture was well-appointed--and I slept in the most comfortable bed I've ever experienced in a short term rental. If I had to split hairs, my only gripe is that I think the pool table might have had a slight tilt to it? Would recommend 10/10.

Perfect Getaway

This has been the best VRBO property that we have stayed at in the five years we have used this app. Giving this location, and Geeta the host, five stars seems like an injustice. Everything about this place is even better than the listing. Communication with Geeta was prompt, helpful, and very cordial. This is also the first place we have stayed at that we didn’t need to bring anything. They had it all. Highly, highly recommended.
