Certainly one of our best hotel stays ever. Staff were exceptional. Location really suited us as a base for exploring the area.

Wow - great experience my wife & I had staying here. Exceptional staff, lovely room. Complimentary wine on arrival, complimentary cocktail with dinner, and complimentary whiskies to finish the evening (by the fire). Amazing. We were only overnight with a check out at 11am. As we didn't need to leave for SFO until 4.30pm that day, we were so grateful to have full use of the Hotel's facilities all day. We used the complimentary bicycles to do a wine trail, then came back to relax around the pool...

Overall a god experience. Could do more to adjust to the single traveller, but it was an excellent diversion from business in San Francisco . Spa treatments are very expensive.

The room and cottage were just gorgeous, and in a good location within walking distance to the downtown bar and to Solbar where we had dinner during out stay. As we arrived late in the evening, Kathleen left us instructions on how to access our room, and in the morning, greeted us with a delicious breakfast. The room was large and extremely comfortable. Relaxed resort style feel. Rooms very well appointed, clean and relaxing but no outlook. Restaurant doesn’t favour guests and is often full - bookings required. Pool area is also a members club so can get crowded. Spa offers “mud baths” that are actually “Clay” and has to be self applied! Very expensive overall

Amazing romantic getaway. Gorgeous property, food and room. We loved the fire place. My only small negative is we didn’t have cold water working from our basin tap and when it was fixed, it stopped working 30mins later.

Beautiful little hotel with lovely romantic rooms that were larger than expected and beautifully furnished. Bed was like a cloud!

Great spot and amazing room, loved the night

The staff and property was amazing. They went out of there way to accommodate us from Australia. The complementary wine and charcuterie board in the afternoon and supplied breakfast was generous, delicious and much appreciated when travelling. The building and grounds is mind blowing- Highly recommended.
