"3 stars not 5 stars. The hotel common areas looks really dated and need a refurb. The restaurant is very average. The rooms were nice and look like they’ve been renovated but the shower smelled strange and there were a number of faults with the lights, safe, and door alarm. "

"We enjoyed our stay!! Great location. Beautiful view from our room. Spacious room and felt refreshing to have all that space which is luxury in Europe. Staff was the best part of the hotel. They were kind, happy, and always eager to help. Unfortunately, two days in a row the hotel elevators were not working. The staff tried their best to have the elevators repaired at the earliest. The staff went above and beyond to compensate for this unfortunate event. They were super helpful. To make our stay comfortable they offered free breakfast for that morning. Breakfast was delicious and was a nice spread. We would totally come back to this hotel when we return to Amsterdam. One of the best hotels in Europe! "

"This wasnt 4*. I did stay in Leonardo hotels in London, this one wasnt up to standard. At self checkin i ve been told i have to 'book' room cleaning for next day as this isnt automatic. When i booked and returned to my room 2pm, i called reception, asked why room isnt cleaned, been told it will be after 3pm when guests will checkout. Room had an odor of mould, the sink has left a 'swimming pool' underneath everytime I used and showerhead was useless. Water leaking everywhere apart from where it supposed to- body and hair. Cleaner has left cloth at the table after 'service' didnt fill up coffee pods, toilet paper, etc. this isnt 4*. Needs a room refurbishment, and better cleaning/standards."

"Easy check-in, friendly staff, clean room, small bathroom with shower curtain but no water curb to prevent water migration into bath area. Great location a six minute easy walk from Central train station. Multiple restaurants and shops near hotel. "

"Excellent hotel in prime location! Free bikes so you can explore more! Staff is super friendly gave me a little note and chocolate as well as a late check out so this was much appreciated as I had a late flight. We also had drinks at the Lyan bar which has funky vibes and great cocktails. There is also social hour from 4-5p with free wine or beer. It seems to be a popular place and was fully booked but staff did not seem rushed-they were kind to everyone! Will defo be back !"
