"Good breakfast, clean rooms. The building is from the 80's but all of the rooms I have stayed in have been refurbished and are quite good. Hard to beat the included breakfast and short walk to the nearby restaurant and bar filled streets. Aircon and wifi work great. I've stayed multiple times and will be back again."

"Every time I’ve stay at the Avenue Hotel previously ( a lot ) With the level I have with hotels.com I’ve always had complimentary park included For some reason this was refused Hotel staff told me I would have to take it up with hotel.com Which attempted to call a number of time, but also emailed what had happened But nothing Subsequently I had to pay $60 more than what I had originally allowed for My boss wasn’t extremely unhappy with me and Hotels.com"

"The room was clean and very comfortable. We only stayed here one night as it is on our way to Sydney from our last location. The day person recommended a great place for dinner which we really enjoyed. I would stay here again, but would reserve one of the terrace rooms."

"Overall I was happy with the hotel, unfortunately we had some items in the kitchen that were left dirty and stains on one of the doona covers. Other than that the rooms were clean and hotel was nicely located for our itinerary. Gym had everything I personally required and appeared clean "
