"Arrived after a 200 mile motorbike ride round Snowdonia, hot and tired, Liz welcomed us, sorted roo s which wete ready. Had cold beers on a table before we had unloaded, that's service. Atmosphere was great, all staff friendly, evening meal was really tasty with proper pies, no small portion sizes here. Rooms large, clean all ensuite. Tea and coffee in rooms best spread ever seen, tea, coffee, herbal, hot chocolate. with proper size cups Breakfast is not buffet, table service with plenty of options, full english was excellent. "I booked the hotel to stay in for 3 nights with my daughter whilst I was playing in the Pickleball English Open in Telford. I always look for a pool and looking at some of the reviews this was a bit of a gamble, however it definitely paid off ! Yes, the hotel is a little dated and could do with some investment, however, it was clean, the suite size was very good and the price was great value. The pool was pretty awesome. It is in a separate wooden building and was really warm, with a jacuzzi. The steam room was out of action, but the sauna wasn't and was also great. We somehow managed to use the pool twice a day, every day. I come to Telford pretty regularly, and this will now be the hotel I will book every time."
