"We think your chef and kitchen staff are brilliant. We had 4 delicious evening meals while we stayed. The menu was varied and we enjoyed each dish that we tried and it had all been freshly cooked for us. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had all we needed. Our breakfasts were delicious too, with plenty of choice. All superb!"

"We stayed here for one night for our 15th wedding anniversary. We were given the deluxe suite at the top. It had the most incredible views. Very spacious, the most comfortable bed. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Fabulous cooked breakfast in the morning. Quirky little find . Loved it . "

"All the staff were friendly and super helpful. The resident pianist Alan was just fab. He was not only good but made you feel very welcome and spoke personally and passionately about the songs he was playing and gave some history behind them. He played all types of music and even asked the type of music we liked etc so he could play some for us. It was a pleasure to sit and listen to him. Our room was large and very comfortable and having the balcony that wrapped around made the views even better. They could do with a bit of TLC but not so much that it took away how nice they were. We are already planning to revisit but for a little longer as we were only on a stop over before travelling down to Kent. The staff really are an asset. "
