"The hotel is gorgeous and perfectly located near Togendai station. Accessible by public transport, it was easy to get to from Tokyo. The rooms are perfectly suited for short stays but could be stretched for 3 or 4 days and still be super comfortable. Plenty of Instagram worthy photo opportunities, sensational breakfast and dinner. Staff are constantly helpful and wonderful. My only issue was 2 nights wasn't enough to catch everything that Hakone and the surrounds had to offer. Highly recommended."

"This hotel was the perfect spot to wind down after 10 days of hectic traveling. The property is beautiful and the surrounding area serene. We enjoyed the food, drinks and onsen very much. Highly recommend. "

"The room was very clean, but very small. We forwarded our carry on luggages and check in luggages to Kyoto from Tokyo (we were only in Fujikawaguchiko for 2 nights and just packed enough for 3 days/2 nights in our backpacks to hold us over). If we had our luggages, the room would've been way too small. At the end of the day, we were only at the hotel to shower and sleep and it was more than adequate. Slippers, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, towels, hair combs, and green tea/hojicha tea were provided. The staff was very friendly and the included breakfast was AMAZING. The curry and potato soup were so good and we loved the shine muscat grape jelly!! This hotel breakfast actually beat our ryokan breakfast. It's a close walk to the bus stop, but there wasn't much to walk to in the area except for a handful of restaurants and a Lawson."

"Definitely accommodation suited for holiday makers with a car. Facilities were immaculate. Limited dining options but able to walk 6-7 minute to train station to Hakone for dinner. Bus 4-5 minutes. "

"Extraordinary service and hospitality! Facilities, wine tasting lounge and drum show were unique and enjoyable. Plenty of space for all guests except during drumming show Sunday evenings - Our only frustration was the poor internet service - we had a bit of medical work to handle and could not connect to and maintain connection with internet in our rooms. Our onsen and room was fabulous. "

"This hotel was great with a fantastic view of Mt. Fuji. Restaurant options for breakfast and dinner were top notch. We really enjoyed the food. We also appreciated the on site gift shop which was also a small market. Good selection of snacks and beverages. The staff was excellent and very helpful and accomodating. The hotel is a little remote (at the top of a steep hill). If you don't have your own car, it can be a bit of a challenge getting around, and relying on the shuttle. "
