"Be wary when handing over a cash security deposit. I checked out early before reception was open. Called them about the security deposit and they said they'd return the security deposit onto my card or bank transfer it. I flew out of Townsville thinking my security deposit would be refunded that day. I called them up after flying home to confirm the return of my security deposit. A different girl answered the phone & said they can't return cash. They would hold my money in a client account at the Motel for next time I come back & stay. They've gone against what they told me. Is this even legal? I'm not returning to Townsville. Was there briefly for a family funeral. I'm waiting on the manager to call me back and sort this out. They said she's busy with meetings and could take 3 days. I said I'd be calling tomorrow. Hopefully this should be sorted out."

"Typical hotel room. Shower over bath. Bed needs mattress topper to hide join in King bed."

"Unit was below average for cleanliness, only 1 tea towel, not enough toilet paper and no dishcloths provided to wipe down surfaces. You could tell the staff were only there to get paid. (6 day stay) Activities for children with water slides fed and lovely pool for everyone. Clean bbq to use for free. Laundry facilities $6 per load. Need washing powder. "

"Breakfast was good value for the money. Air con in the room was a little loud. Shower in bathroom very good."

"Very unclean, mould in kitchen, bedroom cupboards and drawers. People smoking on balconies. Otherwise ok but this time not worth the money unfortunately. "
