"Perfect location! Central to everything. Can go on Embarcadero or Morro Bay Blvd for food or shopping. It's a steep hill so you get a beautiful view of the rock as you walk down. Got the ocean view so had a beautiful breeze. There are overhead cables throughout town which is a bummer - I wish all cities were able to put their wires underground to keep the views clean. The screens were busted but wasn't an issue since the bugs are just on the sand. It's not fancy, but clean and well maintained. They have soap and conditioning shampoo dispensers attached to the wall by the sink and in the shower which I appreciate as I hate all the plastic packaging for bar soaps. "

"As other reviewers have said the structure is "light weight" and sound transmits through the walls quite easily. Management was very flexible for our late arrival and check out. Location is great, easy to find from the freeway, two blocks to views or coffee and shops. "

"The owners have done a wonderful job renovating this older motel. They provide top quality linens as well as many nice extras to make the room and your stay more pleasant. While the rooms are smaller than we expect at chain hotels, the have tried to compensate with upscale amenities. Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. Location is near the highway but the room was very quiet and we slept well til morning. "

"We went to Moro Bay for my son’s wedding. All the other places were priced so HIGH. I was concerned about it being Motel 6 because we haven’t had much success with clean rooms on this 5 day trip. BUT this room was immaculate. Once again the hotel.com didn’t reserve the correct room. I had changed it from 1 bed to 2 bed over 10 days prior and received an email acknowledgment of change and new charge. This was NOT made in the hotels system. So the hotel staff accommodated us well."

"The property in itself is unique. So much detail in the rooms. The spa is large, indoor and unique with pillars and tile. Free parking and free breakfast is a must for us when we stay somewhere, so we're happy it has both of these! Very close to the bay. Clean and very spacious rooms. Gym and sitting area for 24 hour coffee. "
