You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Pet Friendly Cottage

Please know that we are taking extra time disinfecting & cleaning our cottage after every guest. We have also purchased a Automizer for extra precaution. It is an industrial grade sprayer we use with a disinfectant solution between each guest. As the owner I do most all of the cleaning myself with the highest standards. Our top priority is our guests health & well being. From the gate you enter to the keys you pick up when you arrive and everything else in between.
So come and enjoy this very quiet country cottage located on a dead end street. It is set on an acre so you feel a little country atmosphere but it is still located close to town. This cottage is equipped with all of the things you need to make you feel right at home.
The back yard is large & nicely fenced for pets & children. There is a fire pit including plenty of firewood & two BBQ's, one gas
& one Weber.

I do like guests to know
that there is only one bathroom in the cottage and it is located in one of the bedrooms.

With Montana De Oro State Park just a few minutes away makes for a great place to come and enjoy all of your favorite outdoor activities. The park is filled with many great hiking trails to explore as well as mountain biking trails. It is also a nice place to take a walk down to the beach & discover the tide pools and maybe even a picnic. Montana De Oro is a perfect place for just relaxing and enjoying a beautiful environment.


Morro Bay and Cayucos are just a few minutes away where you will find great fresh fish markets, restaurants & shopping.
If you enjoy surfing Morro Bay and Cayucos have some great spots such as the Morro Rock. Cayucos also has a wonderful off leash dog beach that goes for miles.

The central coast is well known for some of the best wineries in California. The wineries start in Paso Robles and run all the way down to Santa Barbara County. So take some time to stop & do some tasting along the way.
If you enjoy taking a beautiful afternoon drive you can head North up Hwy 1 to see the elephant seals or tour the remarkable Hearst Castle in San Simeon .

There is something here for everyone so come and enjoy.

Excellent cosy little house

This house has a large, private back yard complete with an outside wood burning stove, three different types of BBQ and both wood New England type chairs and acomfortable couch, chairs and ottoman set. It is close to multiple beach andmountain trails

Perfect stay!

We absolutely loved Suzanne’s cottage! We spent three days here and didn’t want to leave. The cottage is small but really nicely laid out — kitchen had everything we needed, bed was comfortable, and backyard was adorable! Can’t wait to return!

Relaxing getaway

Well suite for a quiet stay with our two dogs. Cute bungalow and very quiet. Dogs were entertained by the horses and chickens out back. We went on hikes on several beaches and one dog friendly stroll around a downtown area.

Cozy 2 bd/1ba cottage

Susan and Greg were terrific hosts! We enjoyed a bbq in the enclosed patio with our family who live nearby. Our dog enjoyed the enclosed yard when we were at "home". Very nice stay!

Great for dogs

With two large dogs we look for a place with plenty of room and an enclosed yard and we found it here. It can be hard to find a place that takes two large dogs so we were thankful for this place. It was very quiet and comfortable. The kitchen was the best equipped vacation rental, condo or timeshare I have ever stayed in.

Peaceful and comfortable!

We stayed at this cottage for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute! Susanne is super friendly and hospitable. The cottage is really comfortable and well-stocked for cooking. The beautifully landscaped private yard is perfect for relaxing and soaking in the sun. There's so many things nearby to hike and explore. So sad to leave, but can't wait to return!

Loved it!!!

This cottage is so comfortable! Our pup was in love with the cottage's private yard, and also watching the chickens and beautiful horses in the stable outside. We were all sad to leave for home, but plan to return soon!

Perfect spot to stay

We have been coming to Los Osos for 7 years and love the area. Suzanne is a terrific host and the cottage has everything that we need to make it feel like home. She is there if you need her but completely nonintrusive. The area State Parks are lovely with many trails and not terribly crowded. The estuary is a spectacular place, especially for birding. We can hike a different trail each day if preferred, but have a few favorite places.

pure bliss

Our lab loved the yard, we loved the firepit, the kitchen and the coziness of it all. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We fed carrots to the horses and spent our days at the beach and hit the farmers market in SLO. Thank you for alll the thought you put into the place. It was perfect.

Cozy and Quiet

My husband and I stayed here with our dog. The fenced yard was not only private and secure, it was a great place to enjoy a glass of wine by the fire pit and soak in the Los Osos sunsets. The kitchen is well-appointed for cooking basic meals, and the cottage is a terrific home base for a trip to the Central Coast. The host, Susanne, was quick to respond to questions and was very professional and friendly. We will return!

A great three weeks

We loved our nearly three-week stay at the cottage. Los Osos-Baywood proved the perfect base of operations for 14 different day trips to locations like SLO (nearly daily), Cambria, Cuyucos, Morro Bay, Avila Beach, Pismo Beach, Paso Robles, Templeton, Atascadero, the elephant seal observatory and more. Susanne, the owner, was wonderful and very responsive to our very few needs and questions. Highly recommended. We WILL be back.

Lovely stay in a lovely cottage

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at your cottage to celebrate his birthday. I especially enjoyed seeing your farm animals. Such a special treat to walk about the back and interact with them. We found the cottage charming, clean, and comfortable. It was hard to leave after just two nights. Next time it will be more. Just what we needed!!

Our family is currently going through a really tough time with a loss in the family and needed some time with my daughter who lives in SLO as we grieve. We only were able to stay one night but everything about this property is what we needed to separate from the buzz we live in (Bay Area). I stayed up until Midnight outside in the gated backyard next to a cozy fire my husband built and sat in the stillness and beauty and listened to the ocean in the distance. Susanne was so accommodating with us (early check in- late check out since there was nobody arriving the day of departure), she left us fresh eggs and made each step of this short but much needed break a breeze. We will definitely be back- maybe even with our dogs and for sure longer than one night :)

A cute little cottage. It was very comfortable, had a well stocked kitchen ( appliances). They allowed us to bring our two cats, which I was grateful for. Many places that advertise being pet friendly don’t mean cats. Nice location. Very peaceful environment. I would recommend them to people who wanted to come visit the central coast.

As Arnold said, "I'll be back". For me it was the perfect cozy Kayaker's cottage with its fenced in yard and quiet neighborhood. The morning's rooster crow came free of charge. It's a short drive to Baywood for water access and restaurants and a few miles further to Morro Bay's mooring.
