It is conveniently located to the Salamanca Market, which we were able to walk to (30-40 minutes) and also to the Bruny Island boat tour pick-up location. Sandy Bay Road has lots of shops within easy walking distance (Coles and Woolworth). We especially enjoyed one of the bakery shops where we purchased meat pies and cherry tarts. "I’ve stayed there many times & the staff are always friendly and helpful. The location is convenient with a bus stop across the road. The cabin with kitchen facilities allows us to prepare our own meals if we want & the hotel a couple of doors down is handy if we want to eat out or grab a bottle of wine."
